Tasty!
I love this place! The pork fried dumplings are my favorite. The people are always friendly, the restaurant is clean and cozy, and the food is reliably hot and fresh. The menu might be small, but that's because the items they serve are delicious enough to make a business out of on their own. It's also among the more affordable lunch options in the area considering an order of dumplings is just $6.50.
I used to buy their dumplings and pork buns all the time when they sold them out of their cart by VCU, and they continue to be as good as they were then. I'm delighted that they were able to open a physical store after the pandemic. I hope this place sticks around!

Chill spot in Carytown for dumplings. I love the small menu! It makes for quick service! I appreciate on the focus on what they make well - they certainly exceed all expectations. Not to mention the dumpling dipping sauce is divine. I haven’t had anything like it before!!

We got one order of each item on the menu tonight (except for the Pad Thai).
I highly recommend trying a bit of everything!
My personal favorites were the pork belly, both flavors of fried dumplings, and the sesame cold noodles.

The dumplings and pork buns were delicious! The dark, slightly spicy and sweet sauce with them was fantastic, too. I also had the chicken Pad Thai. I know fish oil is used in a lot of Asian dishes, but it was nearly off-putting because it was so strong. I dumped some of their chili oil on it (straight lava, by the way, and I enjoyed it more. I feel it could've used more veggies or something like other places I've been with Thai food. Maybe this pad Thai is more authentic, I don't know. The woman cooking was very nice, polite and had a lovely smile. I would go again if I were in the area.

The pork dumplings and pork steamed bun were excellent. The dumplings were actually crispy, and everything was very flavorful. Great prices as well.

A great little place! The menu is limited, but everything is delicious. Everyone was friendly too. It's the perfect place if you want something quick, delicious, and inexpensive. We had the steamed buns and pan-fried dumplings and can't wait to come back so we can get them again.

I was expecting a lot more because of the high rating this place has. The cold noodles were nothing special. The vegetarian and the beef hot buns were delicious. I liked the pad tai noodles, but my husband and my son did not. I did not like the chicken soup. To me, it tasted like made from powder and not from scratch.
