First time here for my family and I. We came on a Saturday evening around 4ish. There was no one in the restaurant and we sat where we wanted, which was nice. We ordered salmon and chicken bites, catfish and grits, lemon pepper and buffalo wings and fries. For spirits, we had lemon drops and passion fruit margaritas. The food and drinks were great! We were having a wonderful experience up until the checks arrived. The server mentioned that gratuity wasn't included, so I added a custom 20% tip. However, when my receipt came, I saw that a 20% gratuity had already been added on top of my tip. I would've appreciated more honesty, as I would've preferred to decide for myself whether to leave extra. I truly did enjoy the food and ambiance, but that part left me disappointed.
Vibes great,but food was not. Although that was the case, we wanted to give the food a pretty decent review. I had most of the appetizers salmon bites, shrimp, spinach dip and wings. The appetizers lacked seasoning,but the fry on it was decent. Now for the main course we had fish and grits, all I ask is why did my grits taste of the whole sugar bowl? Finally, we received our drinks well after food was served.
