Eggspectation - Richmond

I don’t usually leave reviews but I wanted to say I have came to eggspectation with my Lady at least twice one time 100% before my son was born and now once with him and I can say this second time confirms I love the food here the breakfast sandwich never fails it’s absolutely delicious and don’t get me started on the french toast that me and my son ate together 9.5/10 recommendation

My husband and I decided to have brunch here for our 23rd wedding anniversary; Briana was our server. She was super friendly, courteous, professional, and enthusiastic. I ordered the flight of my mimosas but didn’t care much for the taste. Briana enthusiastically took it back to the bar to have it altered to better suite my taste. Additionally, she went out of her way to bring us a surprise dessert for our anniversary!!!! I thought that was super sweet and thoughtful.

Briana was a wonderful and pleasant young woman. She made our meal so much more special and I would happily return here and specifically request her to be our server!

My granddaughters & son enjoyed the hold Eggspectation experience. Gonna definitely bring the entire family next time and I hope Gabby will be there. She was a pure delight. THANK YOU ALL!!

We really didn't have a bad experience here. The food was really good. We were pleased. We went to eat breakfast around noon on new years eve. Service was good. We have no complaints.

Brian was our server and he was absolutely amazing, fun and spot on in his food suggestions. Very attentive and personable. I recommend asking for asking him when you go because he was amazing. He’s the guy with all the ink pens around his wrist!

Omg if I could save even one person from dining here I'd be happy. It was SO bad. Extremely expensive for inedible food. A breakfast place should cook their bacon and sausage to order they do not. The bacon looked a week old. Nothing was fresh. The french toast was burned. Spent over 40 dollars and left hungry. Service wasn't great. They know the foods bad and every receipt has auto grat so they don't offer any solutions.Just do not go here IHOP is MUCH better. My 2 year old can cook an egg better just skip this place.

Went here for brunch with my mom & had Briana as our server. Briana was an amazing server at brunch. She was very welcoming, warm, and friendly from the start. She was attentive throughout our meal, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure my mom and I had a great experience overall. The food was also exceptional! We will definitely be back.

The food was great ! Very disappointed in service. We asked for a box to box up my waffle that wasn’t touched . We walked to a store for 5 minutes and realized we left the food boxed up on the table . I called to say I was coming right back and they informed me they threw it away . Never touched waffle and it was less than 5 minutes . I was highly upset . No sorry from the person that answered the phone or nothing . I think it could’ve been held for at least ten minutes or so . We surely didn’t box it up just to leave it on the table . Please take that into consideration for the future. We came all the way from Newport News Va!

Love this place. Food is always delicious. Location is great. Price point is even better. Tipping and service need some work. This past sunday I took my mom here for brunch for her birthday and two other friends met us there. They have never been here. It wasn't crowded when we got there but the waiter seemed to be in a rush to get our order. But didn't get it correct and we had to ask for silverware,napkins and coffee twice. I asked for glass of water three times and never got it. But she made she to offer the table behind us water several times. I asked for to go containers three times before I got them. I felt she was just skipping over our time after other tables came in. The tip is added into the bill already so you are forced to pay it. She still received an additional $21 tip on top of whatever was already added to the bill. Because of the holidays we were trying to be nice but we definitely didn't get good customer service from her. We were raised, forgot about, items were missed on the order she could have careless if we got what we needed. She was more friendly and available to her other tables than she was to use. Sad

I recently had Saturday brunch and our waitress, Briana, definitely set the pace! Not only was she knowledgeable about the menu, but she was super friendly and made sure we enjoyed our first time at Eggspectation! The gooey bread, lamb chops, chicken and waffles, and the mimosa flights were all top notch! Let’s not forget the dessert waffle! We can’t wait to come back once we are in town again!
