Overall Experience At the last minute we decided to try Eggspectation because the menu offered what we both had a taste for. Upon entry we were greeted by a not so friendly host. The host failed to communicate where we would be seated, so our server guided us to our seats. Under the circumstances the server was working in, she did an excellent job. She was very friendly and helpful during our visit. Because there were two large parties our ordering time was cut short due to the lack of help. We could understand being short handed and having to serve two big parties + other guests an hour before closing. While waiting on our meal we had to listen to a distributing guest loudly cursing at other people in his party. It took awhile before the manager silenced him. No fault of the team, however this was just as disappointing as the automatic 20% gratuity. Overall Taste We decided to order the fried Calamari appetizer that wasn't very appetizing. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Grits and I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, with extra powdered sugar and strawberries on top. That was absolutely the best waffle I have ever had. It tasted just like a funnel cake, which is my favorite dessert. The texture and taste of the waffle met all of my needs. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. My husband said has Shrimp and Grits were good but not worth the price of $21. The quality of ingredients didn't match the price tag. I could agree with that. No chicken and waffles or Shrimp and Grits is worth $83. Based on our experience I can definitely understand the mix reviews. Our visit sucked and was great all at the same time... confusing right? Any who, based on my waffles I will be back!

Absolutely horrible.... A breakfast restaurant that is out of bacon.. The Bloody Mary's took a long time and then they did not come with any garnish, so we declined. Food and service were not good either. Then to add insult they add 20% gratuity even on the returned drinks. The manager on duty was absolutely useless. Don't waste your money..
Great place for brunch. I would like to try out their other food options also. Huge potions.

Gratuity was 20%. We had to pay by Cash Only for 25 ppl or less. I had 18ppl with Total $806.00 bill. Each person paid around $11 extra. The Server got a $150 tip. The Atmosphere wasn't bad , but we could have had a large space. There was no acknowledgement for my birthday. You couldn't decorate until 15 minutes before the event. This definitely wasn't the best first impression. Will NOT be returning my guess was very disappointed so was I.

Go in with LOW EGGSpectations. The food was burned and hash browns were stale. Pancakes are premade so they come out “fast” but when we got the rest of the food it was all burned and thrown together. Asked for two coloring pages for kids and was ignored. Twice. Then she said she was too busy. Then I went to get them myself and it took two seconds.Coffee was stale. Orange juice was hot. And I almost lost an eye to the plate that was presented in my face instead of placed on the table. If you’re ok with all of this, this is definitely the place to be, otherwise I suggest first watch. There’s a waitlist for a reason there.

Nice place. Friendly service. Great food plus excellant food selections. Go early for breakfast. There was a line when we left at noon on Sunday.Maybe was the the windows in the bar area. The show up dirty in the daylight.
Our server, Brian (picture with the pens) was excellent. Personable, fun.Food was decent, though be warned that there's an automatic 20% gratuity on every tab.

Your customer service from management is lacking tremendously. I know staffing is hard these days but you can still the nature guest are taken care of. Two of the servers we encountered were very pleasant.
