Been eating at Elephant Thai W. Broad for years. Great for after work eat / drinks, Church lady luncheon, pick up a meal to take home or just drop in to sit and absorb the peaceful calm atmosphere and delicious foods!!! Love the family owned vibes and respect towards their patrons! Did I mention the dishes are fantastic and would Recommend 100%

We have been twice now to their lunch buffet, it was by far the best meal we have had in a long time. The service is the amazing the server always keeps our drinks full. They have a rotating buffet which makes it great. Don't forget their cabbage soup on the side, it's simple yet hits everything.

Very tasty food. Fresh. The crab Rangoons are best I've had. Wish it wasn't 1:15:from home.
The worst Thai restaurant I’ve been to, very bland food and inept service. I even came here twice to make sure the first time wasn’t just a bad day for them, but both times were equally bad. Ordered the golden shrimp rolls but they got the order wrong and gave me vegetarian spring rolls instead. Their Elephant Thai crispy chicken was very soggy and mostly breading, nothing crispy about it. The second time I tried the buffet and the chow mein noodles were hard and way too salty. The spring rolls and crab Rangoon were very lackluster and flavorless as well. Save your money and go to any other Thai restaurant in RVA

was the best delivery in town but now they use door dash. Just had a huge order delivered half eaten by the dasher. That money is gone! Never get delivery anymore but damn fine food.
Unprofessional

The staff is kind. the buffet has more options than the one in Short Pump. The way the buffet is set up makes it more accessible. The food is delicious and authentic. You cannot beat the value for the price of the lunch buffet!

Seafood Pad See Ew was horrible. No seasoning or anything to cut the taste and smell of bad seafood. $5 fruit drink in lemon flavor is powdered lemonade. Curry was bland and veggies tasted like they were put in after and not warmed to the same temp as the rest of the curry. Waste of $64. Just order from or go to The Patio Thai. Cheaper and better by far!

Food was good, but service was terrible. Had a group reservation made a week in advance. Showed up on time. Only 2 other customers in the restaurant all night, but steady take out. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks, and had to ask twice to get water glasses. Took 45 minutes to place orders, 90 minutes to get food, and 2.5 hours in and out. Food was fine.

Came here as part of a trip to Richmond from Washington DC with 7 friends. We all agreed that this place had better food than any Thai place we’ve tried in DC. We may have ordered around half of the menu & shared all the dishes, so we each got a good sampling of what they have to offer. Every dish was so so good. A few of us are vegetarians and were very happy with the selection. The meat and fish-lovers among us were also very happy. Can highly recommend!
