Used to be one of my favorite spots in the city, food has gone down and the bartenders always seem to have an attitude. Hoping it can return to what it was.

I used to work at en su boca 8 years ago and i really loved the food. i ordered it for the first time today since then and i can’t believe how much the quality has gone down. The corn was smaller than my hand and the kernels were so small and overcooked that you couldn’t even get a good bite. The chicken tinga was really dry and didn’t really have much flavor. That used to be my favorite protein for the tacos. I also got 2 fish tacos. They were still good but everything kinda just felt like it was made with cheap ingredients

The food was really light and delicious flavors. For a first timer it had a great vibe. The chef's were really good and fast. Definitely will come back. Not much parking so be aware.

The street corn and drinks were fantastic! Fresh house-made lemonade, limeade, and a circulating special. The tacos could be better (pork was watery but shrimp was fantastic), but they were still good. Would go again and try some of their other menu items!

Fantastic food and service. MJ and Brandon went ABOVE AND BEYOND in their customer service. I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone that I know that goes through Richmond.Highly recommend the Cajun shrimp!

The enchiladas with chicken tinga were ok, but not much flavor. The three salsas delivered to our table had a good variety of flavor and heat levels. We sat outdoors on a 40 degree evening which was comfortable thanks to their propane patio heaters. We got lucky finding a parking spot on a Friday night, but our friends that joined us had quite the walking from their car and had to walk across the busy Boulevard.

I had my first margarita here. It was great and I'm a bit hooked on them now. The nachos were awesome too.

Very punk. Great food! A little loud, but a bonus that they were open later.

It’s not hard to mess up Mexican food but they managed to, the food is average. We started with the $14 nachos that came with no meat, half melted cheese, and salsa that tasted like spicy marinara sauce. We then got burritos, tacos and quesadillas. The meat was ok. We had chicken, steak, pork and they were all below average. The burritos had loads of rice and just about nothing else.Staff was a little rude, but efficient. Very loud environment, more of a bar than restaurant feel.Would rather go to chipotle than eat here. Save your time and money and don’t go!

What a fun place to have a drink and grab some Mexican food. The menu was simple and unique. Happy Hours are on Monday-Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM. A large margarita costs $7.50, $5.50 for rail highballs. $2 off on Burritos and Nachos Totopos. We happen to stopped by on a Wednesday, so we got Chicken Wings for $0.75 a piece. They only had Buffalo sauce, but it was very mild and delicious. The Grilled Street Corn was amazing, I absolutely loved it! Please note that Chips and Salsa will cost you $5, they are not free as most Mexican restaurants. Sloppy Jose Taco as awesome. I ordered a Slow-Roasted Carnitas Burrito with dirty rice and drunken black beans on the side since I was on a low-carb diet. To my surprise, they have filled the burrito with lots of meat. It didn’t not taste like the traditional carnitas, but it was very lean and had no fat. The burrito was not the best I had, but I am impressed with the quality and quantity.I would definitely go back on a warm day to have a drink with some friends at their nice outdoor seating area.Service was wonderful!
