-Attention parking is by permit!Amanda is amazing in the restaurant. Beer battered onion rings were fresh and tasty. Enjoyed the location. Pricing is good. Lots of liquor selections. Prosecco was in small batch which made every glass really spectacular.Beware: Parking is by permit for folks staying in the hotel. Don’t want you to come out the restaurant and find your car towed.Property is clean, organized, well decorated. Room had a small walk out balcony.Nice hidden gem in Glen Allen. King Suite featured a living room and bedroom separated by a small bathroom.Vegetarian options: Onion rings and salad availableParking: Parking was $10 while staying at the hotel. They gave me a permit for my window.Kid-friendliness: Didn’t see any children but I believe there is a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Building ADA compliant ; elevator for ground up. Ramp for ground level to restaurant atrium level

Would not recommend. ROOM 427: While it appears some redesign thought was given to the sleeping and living room area, the bathroom was clearly overlooked. Years-long rusted door stopper released rust onto the floor each time it was opened and closed. Door framing in the interior of the bathroom was terribly messily done. Shower had constant leak and running water (would hate to see the water bill) and mold growing along the shower door floor and the tiled floor. While this cannot be changed, the configuration of the bathroom was awful - one has to scooch past the toilet to be able to close the door then to sit on the toilet. This was nightmarish for an average height guest but was very uncomfortable for the other guest who was 6'5". Comforter was stained yellow in spots where it looked like attempts were made to bleach out the previous stains. Brown stain to the left of the bed about the size of a peach. Extra blanket (we checked because the comforter was soiled) was balled up and placed on the shelf of the closet haphazardly Finally, the mattress was akin to sleeping on the floor - no give, no spring...just flat and hard. Needless to say we didn't get any sleep. ELEVATORS: Elevators were extremely slow. This was observed and it was not due to stopping on other floors. Simply the elevator registering that it was needed on Floor 4 seemed to take long. BREAKFAST BUFFET: Poor staffing for omelet station as young lady armed during breaksfast's peak was not very pleasant and seemed to have a difficult time multi-tasking multiple orders. At points she appeared to be a bit frazzled. Because of this, the line was enormously long. The pre-prepared eggs were also very soupy.

We stayed at the Embassy Suits in Richmond while moving our son into VCU. We had 3 rooms booked for our family for 2 nights and each room was a disappointment. Room 517 it did not matter how low you turned the air down it never got below 74 degrees. There was water coming down in our shower from the room above, and the beds were very uncomfortable. Room 504 The air conditioning was completely broken and took until late in the afternoon on day 2 of the stay to get this fixed. Our third room was on the 7th floor and I do not remember the room number but whenever the AC would kick on there was a loud noise that would wake you from sleep. The indoor pool was unkempt and not monitored in anyway. There were young kids doing whatever they wanted and the water looked closer to milk than water. The staff were all very nice as was the breakfast and happy hours, but it seems this building is in need of major updating. I will be looking to stay elsewhere when in Richmond.

Breakfast just fair. Should be better for the price. Room could be cleaner. Room not cleaned daily. Unprofessionally fixed items around the room. Worn and scratched decore throughout room. Had to find my own baggage cart.

First visit to this location and I would return. Typical positive staples of Embassy Suites: morning breakfast and evening reception. The location is pretty good with a few restaurants in the area and sitting between downtown and the Short Pump area, which is nice and has more restaurants and shopping. The hotel is older and went through a renovation in 2003 (I did my research). The rooms look good with a wood floor in the living room space and carpet in the bedrooms. Wetbar with mini-fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee maker. The elevators move VERY slow, so bring your patience. One thing that bugs me, which can't be changed, is the TV is on the same wall as the desk, making it difficult to sit a the desk and watch tv. The only other thing that bugs me is the channel guide. I'm not sure if this is a hotel problem or a Directv problem, however, is the rotary phone version of a channel guide (see pictures). The bathroom is very small so you may need to stand in the hall to dry off, but the room size makes up for it. The topper is the staff. Each person I encountered was overly friendly and they all seemed sincere about it.

Stayed one night. Room had a king bed and it was comfortable. I agree that the bathroom is small. Towels were great. The gentleman that makes your morning omelet is awesome. The evening “snacks” were just ok. Was nice to enjoy a glass of wine. Staff super friendly. I didn’t encounter any issues while staying here so that was good. I’d stay again should I come back to the same area.

This past weekend we stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again. We arrived for a very late check in (approx 12am). The front doors were locked for safety reasons ( I assume). The desk clerk buzzed us in and had us checked in in under 5 minutes. The front entrance and the lobby were super clean! Our room, 630, upon entering was very clean and large. Loved having the seating area and the bedroom! The bed was a little too stiff for my preference so I did not sleep great. I love my soft comfy bed at home - others might love this bed. The bathroom was a little small and had a mildew smell. There were a few places in the shower that require some bleach as there is black mold. Just needs a deeper cleaning. We did experience a few issues this weekend though. Everything was handled by the front desk manager professionally and it was truly appreciated. While heading to the bed from the couch I stepped on a piece of glass the sliced open the bottom of my foot. I hobbled to the bed and removed the shard. Since my hubby was out picking up food I text him a photo of the glass and my bleeding foot to show to the front desk when he returned. The manager wanted to do an incident report - however, all I truly wanted was for them to come sweep the entire floor to ensure there was not any lingering glass. The manager had the on staff housekeeper come and vacuum the room at 9pm (just after the entire incident). Even the housekeeper asked if I was ok. Genuinely these 2 people seemed to care! The manager also assigned our room to have a thorough cleaning the next morning. The only other issue I has was there was an additional blanket/pillow in a bag in the closet. When I pulled the blanket out to use on the couch it was dirty. Clearly had been used previously. Of course I have no idea if a guest used it and put it back in the bag or if housekeeping did this. But it was gross. A simple call to the front and they brought me a new blanket in 10 minutes. OVERALL, I would recommend this hotel. The entire staff that I encountered from the moment I arrive until checking out at 3:30 am were very nice. Everyone greeted us and I loved that. I do believe that housekeeping does need to do a more thorough job of cleaning the rooms from the corners in the showers to really sweeping the entire floor in the sitting area.

My two sisters and I met at the Embassy suites in Richmond, VA for a 2-day reunion. We had a wonderful time. The room was a queen suite and was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The complimentary breakfast was great and the afternoon reception was fun. We're already planning our next trip.

Hotel is good, in a good location. It offers complimentary reception w drinks and appetizers, breakfast was very good and included with made to order omelets. Location is good too. We had some issues with bedding and brought it to the front desk attention. They did resolve the issue instantly and gave us partial credit for our stay. The hotel is very well suited for business travel and leisure travel

Clean spacious rooms. Had crib available for my toddler. Quiet and staff friendly and efficient. Free breakfast had something for everyone in pretty atrium setting. Would stay here again, since it was clean and comfortable . Suites a bonus for a family traveling.
