Fallout is one of the best alternative bars I've been to in my life. Friendly staff, good food, great events, and reasonable drinks.inwish there was a fallout in every city!

went there for karaoke night n it wasn’t rlly goth (apart from the intermission music between people) + the hostess up front was super rude to me and my friend despite being polite to them from start to finish, idk if it was a race thing (since we r visibly poc) or if the host was having a bad day but it seems as if i’m not the first person to have gotten this type of treatment.. overall the place seems great n everyone else seems nice.

One of my favorite places in RVA?Vegetarian options: There's plenty of good food choices that don't have any meat in themWheelchair accessibility: The door is pretty easy to get a chair through, and there's always someone willing to hold the door. Plus to get up by the bar area, there's a smooth ramp, as well as another smooth ramp towards the back where there's a wheelchair accessible bathroom

Most nights Fallout is a members only club but they open for special events. Tonight is the Voltaire show which is sold out. The venue is inviting, and we'll ventilated. The stage is a little small but makes for a more intimate show. Bring cash as the parking lot across the street is cash only as is their speed bar.

Owners are gross DRAMATIC people, incestuous community, trash food, poor service, and They regulate bodily autonomy STILL. Owners husband is a local make believe "political figure" locally with no clout. Great place to get drugged at a club. That's common here too. Just look it up.Go to Wonderland instead.

I've only been here twice, both times good, but this time especially. I had been having a great time in a cute outfit when a drunk dude at the bar decided he needed to be all up on me saying nasty things in my ear and I was trying to be polite, close my tab and just get out because I didn't know him and he was making me feel unsafe. The bartender turned around, saw him pressed against me, saw I was uncomfortable, and IMMEDIATELY called him out. I didn't even have to say anything. Just one second of eye contact and she was there to help. She didn't back down until he left me alone and once he backed off, she asked if I was ok, if she wanted her to kick him out, and if I wanted someone to walk me to my car and I felt protected. I was so nervous and shaken that I felt almost frozen, but in those moments, I felt safe. I can not thank her enough.

The food, drinks, and look of the place is great. They usually have great bands playing too. I can't speak on events, I only go for the music . The other stuff they host isn't my thing. If it's yours, go for it.This is my issue with the place. For all their talk, all the signs, and the culture of "consent" in the place, they are horrible about enforcing it and the people that go there are awful about it.I was in there with my wife recently for a show (which are usually fantastic) and a 3-way group, 2 male and one female, were making out and basically having dry sex right on the bar. No exaggeration of any kind. I didn't know them, didn't speak to them, and made no indication that I wanted any part of what they were doing, again, not my thing, I was simply enjoying one of Fallout's magnificent cocktails and listening to Die Sektor. They kept pressing themselves against me and brushing hands over my bottom. I would move away with my wife, closer to a corner, and they'd follow, continually pushing up against me and brushing their hands over me. I moved several times until I was literally pressed against the exit door close to the bar and they still kept going. After I was literally cornered, I pushed them away, and they'd continue as if I hadn't. The bartender saw that this was happening and wouldn't stop them, ask them to take it somewhere else, nothing of the sort. When I finally had enough, my poor wife (who witnessed all of this) and I left the venue. I felt very violated. This establishment's employees let sexual harassment and assault fly and they need to be more proactive in its prevention and enforcement of rules. I did not give consent. I actively made it clear. The activity continued. It was very distressing and ruined my night. At that point, it should be on the establishment to address the problem. I will likely return, as the food and drinks are great, I like the atmosphere, and they often have great bands playing. But please, please tell the staff to be more active in preventing sexual harassment and to keep an eye out for it across the board. It doesn't just happen to pretty young women, it can happen to a young man such as myself as well. It would be much appreciated.

Fallout is full of welcoming open-minded people and love that there isn't smoking inside! I mostly go on karaoke night! Not a member, yet.

Rude front desk, wouldn't come back to give it a second try. Ruined my first experience trying to support my friend that was hosting the music that night. Wouldn't give me a reason why she wouldn't let me in, and it definitely wasn't because I was intoxicated (had only 2 drink prior that day). To bad , could of been a great regular

Tonight was my first time coming to Fallout. I love that they regularly host a So-bar dance party where no alcohol is served. They have an entire menu of mocktails, shooters and serve non-alcoholic liquor. This is an accepting bar of all types of people and a judgment free zone. I'll definitely be back for more sober dance parties!
