If you’re looking for a cozy brunch spot in Richmond, First Watch on Quioccasin Rd is definitely worth a visit!
We started with the Blueberry Lemon Cornbread, and honestly it set the tone for the whole meal. It came out warm, soft, and fragrant with blueberries, with a bright hint of lemon that made it feel light but still comforting.
For my main dish, I ordered The Works Omelette. It was loaded with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked — fluffy eggs, savory fillings, and everything tasted super fresh.
My husband ordered the Biscuits & Gravy with Eggs, plus a side of their famous Million Dollar Potatoes. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was rich and creamy, classic comfort food done right. And those potatoes? Crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything arrived quickly and beautifully plated, which always makes the experience even better.
Overall, such a lovely brunch experience. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their seasonal menu!

Always a good visit. Since we came on a Tuesday morning things were quieter customer wise than we normally experience and it was nice unwinding. Tessa is an attentive server and very pleasant, it was sweet to see her interaction with regulars.

The food was pretty standard. What made it a bad experience was our server, Kaydence. She literally came to the table once to take our order, then left. Next time she came back, it was to hand us the receipt with an item that never even came to the table. Are you serious…. I wanted to ask for more napkins and water but I never saw her again after getting receipt. I get that it had just been busy, but the restaurant had become almost close to empty and she was nowhere in sight. Thanks First watch! I will not be back after that one.
