Flour Garden is my favorite Richmond bakery. Their hoagie and sub rolls are soft, yet sturdy and perfect for sandwiches. Their sweets, like the cinnamon rolls are flaky and incredibly tasty (and big) .
The staff is always kind and helpful. Definitely will keep coming back. Also their products can be found in stores around town so google where to find them.
I get these bread in Yellow Umbrella and Stella’s. These baguettes are absolutely delicious. I didn’t know the bakery was open to public. Highly recommended!
Great Bread!
Best bakery ever. Really liked it. keep up the good work!
I used to go to 8 1/2 on strawberry Street because they had the best subs on torpedo rolls made by flour garden.
I had the Bagguett...fresh, best one I had since Europe

You guys make the best bread! I wish it was available for purchase for the general public and not just wholesale.

Delicious hand rolled breads and pastries, no preservatives, baked fresh daily.
Bought some baguettes from Sheilds market in Richmond to try and they were terrible. Stale, tasted like a freezer and flavorless. They claim to bake their bread every morning fresh but it tastes like it has been sitting in a freezer for weeks! Gross. False advertising. If you come across their bread don't waste your money. Talked to gut that used to work there and he said they would bake their bread days before and then freeze it and sometimes just leave it sitting out and that the bakery itself is dirty and their equipment is not cleaned or well taken care of.
I only had their sandwich rolls, but they made wonderful hoagies.
