the OG alamo was the first time i ever tried texas caviar and this is as good as ever. i have eaten dinner here in the past and had a very nice experience with delicious food.. but wanted to give special props on being able to order some food in advance in a pinch and really be helped out. thank you!!

The service was perfect and the atmosphere was very nice. I had the two meat platter with brisket and chicken. The chicken was ok and the brisket was delicious besides having a couple pieces that were overly salty the cornbread is to die for if you like yours a little sweet and the collord greens were good they had a unique taste.The portion sizes could be a little bigger. Overall I would visit and try other things on the menu.

Had Nachos there this evening. Really generous portion size (probably better for 2 people). The brisket (which they smoke in house) was very smokey & tasty, they don't skimp on the brisket either. I enjoyed the mole & the really fresh cilantro & greens on top. Friendly waitstaff, and the Bear is cool. :) Highly recommend.

Food was great. I sat at the bar and didn't get asked once by the Bartender if i needed anything after I ordered. I imagine the table service was worse as she was the only one. Ot wasn't bust initially

The food here is excellent, however the owner/manager’s family seemed to be at the restaurant and were running all over the place. The woman that was with them was sitting on her phone not controlling them as they ran in and out of the kitchen, restaurant, etc. I didnt mind at first, but after an hour of them running around with the lady not looking up from her phone it ruined the dining experience. Again, the food is WONDERFUL. I would just consider cary out instead of dining in.
