Southside's most wanted
We love Galley! Been coming for years. We think they changed their sandwich bread. It's been rock hard the last two visits.
Cannot go wrong with the Cowboy Breakfast!

The food was great! An unseemingly place that many do not know about. My friend knows about these places but mum is the word.

What incredible food! Little dark inside and small tables. Guinevere, the food made it worth the loss of space. Pizza was better than we could have imagined.

It was very busy, we had our dog, so my husband asked if we could sit on the very small patio. They told us yes, but it would be 10- 15 minutes. We sat and waited for another group to finish, it was 3 tables for 2 pushed together to accommodate 6. When they finished and left, we moved over to one of the tables for 2 and pushed it away from the other two tables. We had been told to sit anywhere and we waited patiently for this group to finish because we did not want to sit with the sun in our face. Another group of 8 that came in way after us comes out and confronts us saying we took their seat. I said “No sir”, you walked right passed us even commenting on my dog, knowing full well we were there first, and we NEEDED and outdoor table because of the dog. I guess they go in and tattle on us, a staff member comes out and says this was the table of 8 we told them they could have.. I told her “No, ma’am we have been waiting 10-15 minutes before the other party showed”, the seating was first come first serve” and I had cleared the table myself” . And it was not a table for 8, it was 3 tables of 2 pushed together to accommodate 6.8 people wouldn’t even fit at the tables. I politely tell them they are more than welcome to have the other 2 tables we are not using and that there was another 2 top table, but we wanted to be out of the sun.
The next thing I know they pull the party of 8 inside and I guess are talking about us. So we just left.
Very unrealistic for the party of 8 to walk in to any restaurant on Friday night at 7 and expect no wait, they knew full well we were there before them, and so did the waitress. They messed up and didn’t want to admit it.
Maybe since the patio is so small limit it to smaller groups because it makes it very difficult for the waitresses and customers to get around. If you are going to be dog friendly, the patio should be for people with dogs. There was zero reason the other group HAD to be outside other than they didn’t want to wait. Very poor experience that was handled awfully, and everyone knew it. Bad move, I am a great tipper.
This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in my life. Not only was the server rude and dismissive the entire time, but when I asked to speak to a manager there was “only a crew of 4” and no one that could assist me. They do not notify you of any additional charges until the end of the service and refuse to accommodate in any way. Do not eat here without thoroughly reading through the menu, with expecting good service, or if you were hoping for a nice environment. Will not be back, and I encourage everyone else to spend your money where the employees actually care about you.

The fig, brie, and ham might be the best pizza I've ever had. Sweet, spicy, rich, creamy. It's not what I usually go for when it comes to pizza, but it just might be my favorite in the city now. The margherita was very good and the sausage/fennel was good enough, just a bit dull.

Normally excellent food , I had steak and cheese that was passable but not great. Asparagus that was tough as nails ..needs to be steamed first guys . The key lime pie was great. THEN MY BLOOD PRESSURE SHOT UP LIKE A 4TH OF JULY ROCKET !!! MSG? Sodium chloride ,POTASIUM chloride or some other modified salt is being used in the kitchen. !! No wonder the joint looked like a tomb ! All of 5 customers for the after lunch rush !
