I had to check this place out because I like smaller homey places like these. The food was very good and the staff was very nice and attentive to all the customers. The music and vibe was a plus to me, though it's probably more about who's working and choosing the music. There's a park right outside which is perfect too. Absolutely will be back!

Fresh unique, plentiful and scrumptious sandwiches, apps, and entrees. Landmark location. Small park across the street and more. Friendly service too! I'm hooked!

Small, cute location. There was street parking not far from the restaurant. It's very tiny so be prepared for a wait. They have sandwiches, soup and salad. The sandwiches were great, coleslaw was good, and the potato salad was fantastic. The service was ok, water almost ran out and the server cleaned before taking our dessert order.

We drove to the restaurant to place our order for 8 sandwiches for our small office and they refused to make them. Said they didn't have time for that today and we would need to come back another day. Who does that?!?! We won't be going back....

Some of the best (and most unique in a great way) chicken salad I've ever had. Potato salad was also killer (and unique again in a great way). Bread and pickles also amazing. No frills, just spot on sandwiches.

We went to the restaurant to place an order for a few sandwiches and we're told to come back another day... that they didn't have time for us today. Who does that?? We will NOT be going back....

It’s always busy, but if you can get in, it’s absolutely incredible.

We loved our sandwiches especially the Bella. I haven't had coleslaw on a sandwich in a long time and thoroughly enjoyed it. By the way, the French potato salad was terrific. Service was efficient, but I wouldn't say friendly. Perhaps we asked too many menu questions as first time customers. We are in our early 60's and perhaps a bit formal, but I have to say, a warm welcome and some counter small talk goes a long way.

Love it! Grabbed lunch en route to Norfolk ! Awesome vibe, great food, incredible service. Space is small so you may have a short wait...but so worth it!

Such a quaint spot in RVA, reflective of the vibes you expect in the city. It features an impressive menu with different options, sandwiches were delicious. They also had a good wine selection
