Garnett’s had limited vegan options, and the service was slow, with a wait time of over 15 minutes for a two-person table. While the interior stayed true to its roots, it noticeably felt cramped. Overall, the food was certainly decent but my visit was underwhelming.
I don't mind that it's small, and I don't really mind that it's not very diverse. But the food was just... alright. I've had better there before. I ordered a French potato salad, and I assumed Garnett's was experiencing a potato famine with how little I got. Not to mention, I was thrown off by the fact I had to wait outside in the cold for takeout, considering how fast the service was (A+ for that)! Not to mention, I didn't have a fork to go...
Friendly local sandwich shop serving the best sandwiches we've ever had. Prices are reasonable and the staff are welcoming. The desserts were also great and we loved the homey, vintage atmosphere!
