Going to the restaurant for over 10 years.
Lots of memories. Since we are on fixed income and over 75 years old due to the new pricing we will not be returning. A chapter of enjoying our special date time is finished with a favorite restaurant.

Sad to see what the new ownership has done to what was once a great restaurant.

What was once a staple in the community has now become a restaurant that no longer stands out above all the rest in the area. For 22 years Glory Days has served and appreciated the surrounding neighborhood communities. Before the new ownership, Glory Days supported local organizations such as Tuckahoe Little League, Saint Judes Children's Research Hospital, Girl Scouts of American as well as elementary, middle and high school fundraisers and athletics. Now it just feels like a money hungry corporate chain. A place that felt like home no longer has familiar faces. It is sad to see such a cherished establishment turn into a place where regulars no longer want to visit. As a cost saving measure food suppliers where switched and the quality has gone downhill. Susan, Mark and Jason made this restaurant what it was for 2 decades before the new ownership and that's how I will always remember the Glory Days.

My first visit here. The food was really good - I had the short rib grilled cheese and fries. Cheese was nice and gooey and the fries crisp and well seasoned. My drink however wasn’t great - got the orange crush that was supposed to have the whipped vodka to be more creamcicle but is more orange soda. However our server was new and made several mistakes so that might have been the explanation. Our server was very nice though and I’m sure with experience will get better.

Wow, this place has really gone down hill since the new owner came in. Slow slow slow. We’re there for an hour before we even had our dinner tonight

We’ve noted a steady decline in Glory Days since the summer but didn’t realize it had changed owners. That would explain a lot. The staff has all changed (not talking the high schoolers but the regulars) and service is off. Tonight we had an above average wait time for food (and the place wasn’t full) while we watched to go and Uber orders rolling out. They had no wine but managed to charge me $10 for the glass I never got (??) Our server was polite but as flustered as we were around why a margarita took so long to make. We’ve been customers for almost 25 years and so sad to take this place off our list of go tos for a while.

How do you kill a neighborhood staple? Sell it to some greedy new ownership that doesn’t understand there are 70+ other restaurants in the area. We didn’t come for your restaurant we came for the people, the service and the relationships that we had with everyone there. Too bad, service sucks now, know 0% of the staff, management has been a huge down grade. This place was my Cheers… but it’s over now. What a shame.

This used to be a great place for good bar food and to watch sports. It's gone way downhill since the place has been sold to new owners who are obviously out of touch. We ordered the nachos that used to be some of the best in town. Now they are some of the worst and a small portion. The wings were undercooked even though we asked for extra crispy with no flavor. The famous glory sauce that used to be so good was completely different.. watered down with hardly any sauce and no flavor. The buffalo chicken sandwich was dry with hardly any sauce. The server was not friendly and when asked if she could put another popular football game on the TVs was very unhelpful and ignored our request. She also got our beer orders wrong. It used to be a great neighborhood bar and grill type of atmosphere. Now its more like an Applebee's. The whole new feel and vibe is off. Its too bad a very popular place for years has taken a turn for the worse. We will not return and would not recommend it to anybody anymore.
