Goodrich Gourmet Catering Company

We have gotten these lunch boxes for two work meetings. Both were great. Yesterday I got the vegetarian sandwich box. Thanks for making a hearty and healthy option! The sides were delicious and I loved that it came with a pickle!

We ordered from Goodrich Gourmet for our wedding celebration and it was seamless. Dale was communicative throughout the process and our food arrived on time. One of the most asked question of the weekend is where I got the catering from and I think that is a testament to how good the food was. If I was in the area and needed catering I wouldn't hesitate to contact Dale and his team at Goodrich Gourmet again.

Goodrich catered our wedding and I couldn’t have been more impressed! From the planning process all the way through the execution of the day, Lauren and her staff truly took our experience to the next level. She accommodated each of our requests and made sure we felt like our day was catered to us. The staff also was top notch. They ensured our drinks were full all night and even watched out for our immediate family and their requests too — it was amazing! Not to mention, the food selections were truly incredible. Our entire guest list was raving about how delicious everything was and how simple yet unique the offerings were. I couldn’t say enough good things about Goodrich! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience from start to finish and amazing value for the money. I'm not from/familiar with the Richmond area and had to coordinate the meal virtually. Dale walked me through options to feed a women's soccer team and was very flexible in figuring out the set up location on the day of the event (in the middle of a parking lot!) The food was on time, hot, delicious and fed the team of 32 women + coaches as well as a few additional family members and we still had some left overs. I highly recommend Goodrich Gourmet Catering and will be using them again when I find myself back in the area!

We just had a vendor have this delivered for our company and I was so impressed with the food and the man who delivered it! He was so friendly and polite and set up everything for us and the food was delicious! We were provided with red pepper chicken which was covered in a delicious gravy, salad with all kinds of toppings and two options for dressing (ranch and balsalmic), rice pilaf, and green beans. They also gave us a handful of cookies of different varieties. I was super impressed!

I hired Goodrich Gourmet for a Corporate function for 30 people. Everyone RAVED about it! The food was delicious, delivery was complete and on time. I will absolutely use them again!!!

It was good prices were high but over all was definitely a decent place for food!

AMAZING job on Saturday at the Ford's backyard BBQ. Layla's attention to details really helped make the backyard BBQ a success.She got there early to access the situation and got the crew all together (They were so good) and with ease had everything set up and prepared early before the guest started arriving. Layla was spot on with the weather and I loved how she and the crew wrapped all the food up and put it in the kitchen right before the rain hit. They left no tasks undone and the cleanup was flawless. Most importantly the food was DELICIOUS and the presentation was beautiful from the display of the food to the name tags on the food and the drink station. It all was so impressive. Everyone loved the food and kept asking who the caterers were. I took a chance and googled caterers and that’s how I found Goodrich. WOW, how lucky I was.A million thank you’s for making my daughters and new son in law’s celebration a huge success.

Catered our wedding and absolutely top notch food and service. The servers were very professional and friendly and did an amazing job. All our guests commented about how great all the food was. I highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed! We will definitely use again if we ever need a catering company.

Wow!! We absolutely LOVED having Goodrich cater our wedding! They were phenomenal on all levels. Lauren helped me as a DIY bride on the front end with planning and was so responsive to questions and help with dietary needs for our guests. The food itself was outstanding, so much so that our family and even our day-of coordinator commented that it was some of the best wedding catering they've tasted! The potatoes au gratin and brussel sprouts were to die for, and everything on our menu was amazing. The team did a great job whisking away the cake to cut and serve in record time. The staff onsite were so friendly. One of the best moments was standing with my dad beside the bar area right before they opened the curtain for our processional. The kind bartender could see that I was nervous and told me to breathe and take a moment. Although I don't know his name, his kind and calming words made all the difference. I strongly recommend Goodrich to make your wedding a dream come true like they did for my husband and I!

I can’t say enough good things about Lauren and the staff at Goodrich Gourmet! From the first tasting until the last minutes of our daughter’s wedding reception, Lauren made sure everything was perfect. They even brought appetizers and cocktails to the wedding party during pictures! Our guests raved about the food, especially the smashed potatoes. It was all delicious and I’m currently enjoying the leftovers for dinner! We will definitely use Goodrich again and recommend Lauren without hesitation. Thanks a million Goodrich!

The most disappointing and stressful part of my entire wedding experience.To start from the beginning, communication with Goodrich has been an issue from the very first day that we signed our contract. We constantly had to send multiple emails in order to get answers to simple questions, and we felt very uneasy from the start. Regardless of this, we tried our best to give this company the benefit of the doubt, as we know that sometimes technological issues happen. As we got closer to our wedding day, I reached out multiple times to speak to a member of management about adding linen rentals to our contract. We were reassured multiple times that these linens would be added after our final walk-through at our venue. Once our final walk-through occurred, we asked for these rentals to be added multiple times with no response. I finally called my month of coordinator, who knows this company very well, and she informed me that she had spoken to Goodrich earlier that morning and they stated that they will in fact NOT be adding linen rentals to our contract, and that we never asked them to do so. After providing multiple e-mail chains that proved that they had stated all along that they would be providing these rentals, Goodrich finally stopped arguing and offered to add them to our contract. This all was occurring less than 2 weeks before our wedding and added an immense amount of stress to our lives. I wish that I could say that this is where this review ends, but sadly it became much worse on our actual wedding day. As cocktail hour is going on, and my husband and I are privately trying to enjoy a few moments to ourselves, we had multiple guests come to us to complain that Goodrich was serving our passed hors d'oeuvres with no silverware or toothpicks. They expected our guests, who were at a black tie wedding, to pick up meatballs with sauce and other hors d’oeuvres with their fingers. When we had guests complain to the staff management that this was unsanitary and classless, they were turned away and basically told “too bad.” I have never been so mortified in my entire life. We paid this company tens of thousands of dollars to cater our formal event, and they could not even show up with the proper amount of tooth picks.This vendor did not receive a single tip, and I do NOT suggest using them for your special event. The food was subpar, the communication was terrible, and they left a newlywed couple feeling downright embarrassed in front of all of their guests.The only reason they are being given 2 stars, is due to the friendliness of the bartenders and staff at the actual wedding itself. Past this, we did not have a single positive experience.

They did an OUTSTANDING job at our wedding. We worked with the lead coordinator, Layla. They were prompt, and orderly. The food was amazing and very fresh. They allow you to do a food tasting and take extras with you. They also provide a to-go “picnic basket” after the reception for you to enjoy more of the food you ordered. We had the shrimp cocktail, meatballs, roasted potatoes, Tuscan chicken, seafood linguine pasta. They provided rolls, drinks, linen, plates and silverware. Everyone raved about the food. And for a 90 person wedding we had more than enough to take home. Also, be sure to tip them at the end. They deserve it.
