I ate with my brunch group on a Sunday mid-day. From the moment we walked in to the server who kept us well taken care of to the hot food and the awesome cocktails. My experience was nothing short of delightful. We drove over an hour to visit and we will definitely return.
Food came out cold and service was really slow. They said they were busy but the restaurant didn't seem That full and by the time our food came out it was obviously sitting out a while
We had a lovely birthday celebration at Bar Solita. The food was prepared well, the wait staff attentive but not intrusive, and our table of 6 enjoyed conversation without being drowned out by music or other conversation. We had fun sharing the meat and cheese board - including spicy mustard and tasty peach jam. We enjoyed several tapas plates (do not recommend the scallops), a few pasta entrees, and also sandwiches. All of our food was served in a timely fashion at the proper temperature. We rate this a very successful dinner.
Great menu of tapas-adjacent starters. We loved birria eggrolls and whipped feta with tomato toasts. Mains were chicken with romesco sauce and arugula salad with grilled shrimp. Fun spot, attentive service, highly recommedned!
We were in town for the weekend and spotted this cute spot for a late brunch. The ambiance is super cute and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the steak Cesar wrap and for me it was just okay. I felt it was lacking flavor to the dish. I did order the shareable cinnamon roll and that did not disappoint!! I also ordered their mimosa flight…it was good and had great options but the bar was super slow. I ended up finally receiving the drinks just before our food came out. I would definitely try this place again!

One of my places to go to eat for brunch and even dinner. So many options for gluten allergies and even vegan. Went with my boyfriend one random Sunday and we fell in love and go a lot and when friends come to visit Richmond, it’s a must we take them here. Definitely go try it out if you’re thinking about it!

Industry person here offering a review of my experience during recent Thursday evening visit. Bartender Dylan was busy this particular night due to several groups in house. He still was prompt in his greeting, offered up the cocktail and food menus, returning to the service bar cocktail orders. He did have support from fellow staff, and overall the venue appeared “staffed right”, attentive and friendly. I had a Honey, I’m Home cocktail to start, and the very tasty Birria Egg rolls. My cocktail was a mixture of local ingredients, Mead, ginger infused Vodka, ginger shrub, apple, and bitters. Tasted delicious, very nice balance. This bar has some very interesting craft cocktails which I’ll try next time. I closed with a Dylan original cocktail. A sangria, Tuaca Brandy, and spiced pear reduction blend that was a sweeter ending to my visit and tasted great. Clean, organized bar, good staff chemistry, bartender on point, wonderful menu of modestly priced food and beverages. Five star experience, and kudos to staff and management for success given challenges today. Definitely worth a return visit.

This place is really cute and the food was on point. Service was slow at first because it was crowded, but our server was nothing but nice and very knowledgeable. The Brussel sprout appetizer was crazy good. And the special pumpkin pie baklava was mind blowing.

Bar Solita is a great place and a style win. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the menu only has winners, and it's a really beautiful, well designed space. I stopped by for brunch. Particularly recommend the cinnamon roll. Perfect app for the table.

I’ve been here a few times. This time was for brunch. The food was good as well as service. I have never had a bad meal here.
I had the Mediterranean Omelet, with home fries and fresh fruit. Not pictured I had a Bold Rock Hard Cider on draft.
Jason didn’t do a good job at checking on us at all. We needed more water and that didn’t happen. I needed to order to go and had to get his attention.
Food came out fast and I got shrimp and grits but it was not good. Super spicy and bland. Lacked flavor.
Parking spaces near the street are 30 min and on the other side are 3 hours. Bar set up isn’t bad and great to met but I will not be returning,
