I have walked by this place so many times and always wondered why don't I see anyone inside? Well I got my answer!!! It was an amazing vibe, quaint and tucked away so that we could experience the scene! The ambiance is ideal for a date night or like us ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION. The food was amazing, service was decent, but honestly nothing to complain about. I read the reviews ahead of time about staffing so we were prepared. We will return!!!

We had a party of 6 for dinner. 3 people ordered alcoholic beverages; 1 person ordered a mocktail. 2 of the 3 alcoholic drinks were not satisfactory; the additional alcoholic beverage and mocktail were quite good. We ordered 2 appetizers - both were incredibly bad with 1 being inedible - several people tried it and no one liked it so not a matter of preference. We ordered 6 different entrees. The chicken piccata arrived with a dry chicken breast - nothing else. Shrimp and grits were ok - nothing special; a bit bland. Crab cakes were acceptable. Steak was good. Chicken parmesan was ok - very little pasta with a ton of red pepper flakes so spicy but not really flavorful. Gnocchi was evidently the same - loaded with red pepper flakes, no other flavor. I was surprised as this restaurant claimed to be "fine dining." Hostess was very nice. Waiter acted like we were an inconvenience. Almost $300 tab for sub par food and bad service. Very disappointed.

Have been a few times in the past. This time the waiter said they were understaffed so bar serviced was slow. Otherwise the atmosphere was lively and festive. Food was good. As warned the service was a little.

Thought this would be a speakeasy bar but the only thing that made it a speakeasy was getting in through the bookcase and the secret words. Which was cool! Inside decor was good and the bar service was fair as they didn't have some of the drinks I wanted. As well as they kept forgetting what I ordered. The food was surprisingly good!

Made a reservation for my husband's birthday. Wrote in the message it was for a celebration birthday and how we wanted drinks. Sever was in a bad mood. He was terrible to our table and constantly walked away while we were speaking to him about the drinks. Wish we had a different experience with a different server. Would not go again.

This is a very cool restaurant that gives you an experience with your meal. It truly feels like you are back in time at a speakeasy. The crab dip is the best I have ever had and the filet was perfectly cooked. The Caesar is authentic with real anchovies. I would go back 10/10 times!

1st time in a place like this, and the experience was awesome! The duck drumlets in Korean BBQ sauce were delicious and soft. The tuna steak was outstanding! Our reservation was at 9:15 on a Sunday. There were not a lot of people, very good service and ... the music was sooo good!

This was the 2nd time dining in and also being served by Stephanie; both times, she made the evening a dining experience! The food and drinks were exceptional, but the service, care and professional recommendations are beyond compare! We plan to make regular trips back as well as introducing more people to this mind blowing establishment!
Fun spot to get drinks and a bite. Warm lighting and fun atmosphere. Casual setting. a few booths but mostly tables. Bar is great with solid selection of drinks. Food is good with American fare. Gets louder at night with more crowds.

Like the initial impression with the speakeasy feel. Hostess was lovely and very welcoming. I think this would be a great place for a drink - particularly late night. Liked the bar vibe. Dinner was disappointing although the filet and shrimp and grits got great reviews from table mates. French onion soup with croutons on the side and no bubbly cheesy topping was a travesty. Don't call it French onion soup if not served properly under a thick topping of Gruyère with croutons swimming below. I really wanted to like this place. Sadly cannot recommend.
