Overall, really good food, the drinks were good, and had no issues! The ONLY reason I dropped a star was the bartender we first met just seemed kinda pissy? Nothing outrageous, just seemed like he was bothered by us asking questions (had recently relocated nearby) and had asked what they would recommend/their favorite drink. Was told that they don't drink (again, nothing against that you do you) but just no suggestions on what's popular, what they sell a good bit of,...
I've wanted to go here for 10 years. It absolutely delivered. It's a dive bar owned by a member of GWAR. The food is absolutely amazing, and the building is basically a GWAR museum. I can't wait to go back.
I left a notebook there almost a year ago and they found me just by my name from the inside cover and kept it for dang near a year until I came back. Never in my wildest dreams did I think they would still have it after all that time, but they did. The people here wildly kind and I always have a good time. Thank you Gwarbar!
