Hardywood Park Craft Brewery - West Creek

I love this brewery. I always have a great time here.

Very nice place to celebrate Christmas with friends of work.

Hardywood is a staple in Richmond, known for its high-quality beer and excellent service. The West Creek location is family-friendly, offering plenty of space for kids to play. Food trucks, fire pits, live music, etc. always a great option if you’re in the neighborhood.

We recently visited Hardywood craft brewery. The spacious venue offers a variety of beers and features live music. A wooded garden provides a relaxing spot for families to enjoy drinks. Food trucks are available nearby. The atmosphere is particularly pleasant during warm weather.

The brewery's tasting policy, however, was disappointing. After providing two initial samples, they declined our request for a third. This strict limitation felt unnecessarily restrictive. As a result, we chose not to leave a tip. While the overall experience was satisfactory, this interaction detracted from our enjoyment of the visit.

Great outdoor space, good beers. Will return if ever in the area again

We enjoy the atmosphere at Hardywood WC, it’s a beautiful set up and the beer is enjoyable. I do have an issue with their parking. It’s not new that finding a parking space can be time consuming and aggravating. Sometimes several private events are happening at the same time. The cyclist use the parking lot at the brewery as well instead of the over flow lot that is at the entrance across the street.

My biggest concern is the other night we had to park in the overflow lot and at night there is no lighting. It was pitch black when walking into the lot. This is a huge safety concern. I had a conversation with others I know and they had the exact same concern.

If we have to park so far away please make it visible with lights to help with safety or an even better idea create more parking spaces closer to the brewery to accommodate your customers and event attendees.

Fantastic beer selection and a great atmosphere make this a favorite. Brought friends for their first-time visit. They loved the beers and the cosy park-like setting.

Great spot to grab a beer. Had fun at Oktoberfest today.

If they could serve killer food .... well, that would be nice.

It's Sunday at 1530, ppl didn't come for live/loud music. They came to talk and have a good drink. Time and place for everything

Obviously they have been around a while now and the beers have consistently been great, some of the best in richmond. This location is nice, but it’s often crowded and parking is a challenge, you will often have to park at a business park far up on west creek and hike over. Main reason I can’t give them 5 stars is the biggest draw is the outdoor area, but half the seating outdoors you have to pay to rent them like a VIP in a club, but they are ALWAYS empty so half the seating outside is unused and makes for a really stupid atmosphere of spiteful greed.

Really nice atmosphere. I'm not much of a beer person, but I enjoyed the margarita I had on the menu. Wasn't too busy when we went at 4 pm on a Wednesday, but I imagine it has a great vibe when it's busy as well and plenty of space without feeling crowded.
