They were at my grandson's football game in Mechanicsville. I missed most of the game waiting for food. I waited 45 minutes for 2 bbq sandwiches and 2 canned drinks. No wait to order, very long wait to have it filled.

8/16/2024 I ordered food fish was not good. I'm wondering if this location under new management. I don't see the older light skinned lady who had been there for years any more. Maybe this is why the food quality is not the same, different management :( I always loved Hawks. Dissapointed this visit.

They have a 1095 sandwich No condiments on it for 1095. What’s the purpose of selling it? I will never buy here again.

Where to start the options to order BBQ are well a Sandwich which comes up to $12 after taxes. For $12 I would hope it would be a good sandwich.Bun - Burnt and Soggy, BBQ taste like it came out of a container, the slaw on it was not fresh.Couldn't pay me to eat here again

Small portion even after i complained at the desk many times with cost being more than any other seafood store for what you are getting night cook on Brook rd very rude, i tried to support a business both farther and grand parents supported but no more im also telling everyone on my social media i have spent too much money for bad fish and business

Meal 1) which was actually a meal the fish was ok the bread was soggy and fries wasn’t fully cooked with a drink $13. Meal(2)Steak&Cheese sandwich was salty looked like 4 inches not to mention it didn’t come as a meal but the fries sold separately and not fully cooked with a drink was $13. End of the day my husband’s blood pressure went up and I had a migraine and to top it off the lady at the register has a resting B—— face like she didn’t want to be there!!

The whiting wasn't that good there was no seasoning at all. The Mac n cheese was ok. Don't know if I would go back.

It's been YEARS since I've been and I can't for the life of me know why I stop but grateful to reconnect...I got three pieces whiting and fries and I love the grilled bread... Purchase sweet potato pie it was good...I thank everyone for their hard work and safe travels home...A staple of Richmond VA that is still being BLESS??????

Best BBQ sandwich I ever had. I moved here from Charlotte, NC. I know good BBQ I have been going to Hawks for the last 4 months. I have tried Southside, East end and Brook Rd. Brook Rd location had the best tasting of all three locations. I recently went to the Brook rd location on August 10th excepting good BBQ. When I got my sandwich I was better than good. This was the best tasting BBQ I ever had I don't know if they added more flavor or what but all I know is I went back and ordered 2 more sandwiches. I hope they sell it by the pound I need this for football season. If you want Thebes BBQ go to the one on Brook road you will love it.
