I would like to say that my experience at Hawks BBQ At South Side plaza was amazing. I was greeted with the most beautiful smile by Mrs. Queen. The food was on point and the vibe was soothing with the great old school music that played. I ordered a pig feet dinner with potato salad and collared greens and everything was great,
Well Mrs Queen I told you if the food was good I would give you a review. Mane the food was great!!!! I mean it tasted like my momma’s cooking!!! If I ever come back to the RVA I will stop in. Fish good!! Chicken good!!! Sides great!!! Everything A1 thank you it’s great to find a place that still do it the correct way!!!

I placed a order online and was asked for a tip so I declined and it charged my credit card anyway, just stole the tip money after I put $0.00. I drove to this location and used my gas so why did I need to pay tip money just pissed!

I grew up eating Hawkes fish…I remember my parents getting in the car and riding all the way to Petersburg on Washington Street …needless to say the food is just as good as it was back then!! Has that same delicious taste …nothing has changed!! And the desserts OMG!!!
