The food was good. Drinks were good. Service was good. It always is. The portions were quite small, and we aren't big eaters. The beet salad was particularly modest. We had one small piece of beet. Honestly, it felt as if we were being driven to order dessert.

Eating at Helen's is like having a genuine curated restaurant experience. The owner is on staff and works just as hard as any of her fabulous employees. The warmth and and ambience are palpable. The food is not only creative but delicious. And the staff is extremely professional, bright and witty. I can't say enough good things about Helen.

We checked Open Table, and saw availability for every later time spot, didn't make a rez. Show up, and they acted like no tables were available (3 were vacant), but maybe they had staff call out. Anyway. Then made a rez for 25 min later on open table. They approached us and said the last table was taken by a Rez, I say yeh, that was me. Went to the bar to get a drink while waiting for the Rez time, and got ignored . The bartender who may have been a manager seemed hocked off that i was able to get a table after they said they ‘didn't have any' (if that was true, block off open table). It was in poor taste imho. Food was fine but not amazing.

This was our first time and made reservations after friends told us about the wonderful Christmas decor they put up. Great menu options, nice portion sizes, food was fantastic and Claire was kind,friendly and engaging! A wonderful overall experience. We will be back! Sea Bass and Pork Shank were delicious! My wife wanted me to reserve a place to have a nice dinner with a ton of Christmas decorations and she absolutely loved the ambiance here! The food was incredible and Hollyn made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out! Hollyn crushed it and we will definitely be back!
