We had a great server, Nicole. She was accommodating and had grear suggestions about the menu. We ate upstairs which separated us from the busyness/noise of downstairs. It was also super spacious which made it easy to enjoy my food and friends.
The Asian wings, fried mushrooms, loaded potato salad, fried fish and the field greens salad were REALLY good. So was the strawberry limeade.
I'd go back and I'd tell others!

The light skin girl (hostess) who worked at the front checking people in on July 4th was veryyy rude. She was non verbal majority of the time when we asked her questions.. she either nodded her head “yes” or shook her head “no”. When my family tried speaking to her she didn’t even look at them. We had NO IDEA there was an upstairs dining area here. This was our first time coming so we didn’t know anything about the layout . My father asked her about the seating and how long the wait would be because he seen a lady take what he thought was the last seat downstairs. She told us all of the seats downstairs is full. She seen us frustrated trying to find a new restaurant to eat at on our phones talking amongst ourselves and not ONCE told us there was an upstairs dining area here. She just stood there silent rolling her eyes. I felt like something was off so I asked her how long the wait would be for us to sit and she said with an attitude “I have somewhere to put yall, we have an upstairs”.… I never been so irritated in my life.. why would you not tell us there’s an upstairs dining area option as the hostess smh. We definitely will NOT be coming back. She has one of the easiest jobs but didn’t greet one person with a smile the whole time we sat in line. We also had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive and had to ask our waiter to give us updates because he wouldn’t do it on his own.

Overall the whole restaurant ambiance was amazing, from walking in, being seated to our waiter! The wings are amazing !! My boyfriend got the big Philly and he said it was top 3 for him. I had the hot fish with onion rings and it was delicious. Beside the food being great, our waiter nick was the best we’ve encountered. His energy was through the roof, we will definitely be coming back. Hopefully Nick will be there.

The best food I have had all of Richmond. The big Philly is a must!!!! And cherry limeade and Arnold Palmer is top tier!!!!
Drove over 100miles to try this place i saw all over tiktok only to be greeted by the door girl’s absent look when I said i’d be dining alone, and she silently pointed towards the bar. I sat myself down at the nearly empty bar, while the staff completely ignored me for at least the next 15-20 mins, talking about football. When I was eventually greeted, the question was, “Are you sitting at the bar?”, again, I had been seated here for several minutes. I ordered fast, as I already knew what I was coming to try. From my seat at the bar, i could see my food sit visibly in the window for another 10+ mins while my bartender entered her tips into the system. I watched no less than 3 servers check the ticket and leave the food in the window, and not deliver it. The rest of the waitstaff stood at the bar audibly complaining about some workplace drama involving “a salsa night”, and to heckle their Sunday Brunch guitarist (which was quite honestly the only good and redeeming thing about this entire experience. Great job!) I think Dylan Benjamin (maybe?). I won’t be returning here.
That being said, the food was great. Maybe order to-go.
Here on business dinner with a colleague. Good menu with a chalkboard of other specials. Matthew was the server and quite prompt and helpful with recommendations. Good was very good and wedge “side” salad was huge. Barbeque sauces hit the normal marks. The pulled pork was quite tender. Reasonable beer list and very busy for a Tuesday night which I think tends that lots of locals enjoy the food. Would definitely visit again.

Really wanted to try out. So finally made it and was ok expirence. Ordered carry out. Said would be 30 min wait. Seemed a bit disorganized. As some who ordered after me beat me out. No big deal. Fried pickles were whole spears dipped in batter and fried. Nothing out of norm. They were solid. The build your own hot dog was a bit disappointing. I was a little dog buried in the cheese steak roll with a touch of chili on it. The big Philly was good the meat and cheese was good. Overall good experience not great. Would I go back, maybe. Not a great bang for buck.
