Walked in and had to walk to bar. Was told to have a seat anywhere, sat by the front in on of the booths inside. Should have sat by the bar, because we were definitely forgot about. Another group came in and were given drinks before bartender came to our table. I was about to leave and we are handed some menus and asked what we wanted to drink, he apologized for forgetting about us (I knew that was the case) and we ordered waters because I didnt want to wait for him to come back. I assume if you drink alcohol, this is a nice place because they don't forget you're there. I wonder how you get served if you sit upstairs. If you haven't been here before, the vibe is not there. Next time I will go somewhere else. Food was good but not worth the wait. Reading other reviews. This seems to be the normal.

The food and waitstaff were great but the graffiti on the walls on the second floor was very inappropriate. Vulgar and sexually explicit. If you are bringing young children I would suggest not sitting upstairs.

I love this spot! It’s called home sweet home for a reason. The vibe is awesome, it’s a really cool place with cool art, cool people, etc. best of all are the grilled cheeses! There are so many good ones on the menu. Outdoor patio is also great. Parking can be tricky but it’s worth it!

Purely a dive bar. Food is actually pretty good but it's a dive bar. The photos are very old. It's now dirty and covered in graffiti.

From a delivery driver's perspective: These employees are a class act, especially Andy and Mikey. I had difficulty with a customer's order and those two went the extra mile to help me out when they didn't have to. Both of them are absolute bros and deserve a pay raise.

Great spot for some good energy in carytown. I thoroughly enjoy the idea of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches being the bulk of the menu.

Classic dive bar with a cozy feel and good food. The tomato soup was thick and creamy. Hearty grilled cheese sandwiches with a large variety of options. Fun appetizers like poutine and fried pickles, too. Good vibes and friendly service.

This restaurant was really not what I was expecting. We went on a Thursday evening at like 7 pm and it was a total dive bar vibe. Every table was dirty so I had to grab a rag that I saw nearby and clean a table myself. There were no servers, just a bartender that we had to go up and order through. He was nice enough but it was just a really weird vibe there. There were a lot of very drunk loud people just standing around in herds. One drunk guy got in front of me when I tried to enter and asked for $20 in order for me to go in. He was obviously just joking, but just to paint the picture of what it was like there. The food was ok/mediocre, but the Mac and cheese was over the top greasy and cold.
