Cute little spot in Ashland. Eclectic, with antiques and tchotchkes all over the place. We had the chicken salad and the ham sandwich. All very good, and potato salad, enjoyable. There's outside seating and parking in the back. It's all kind of close though, so it might not be accessible to all. The restrooms definitely are not.

48 hours before my reservation, I received a call from the restaurant letting me know that my reservation should not have been accepted as they would be closed for a wedding. The website had advertised that a holiday buffet would be offered each Thursday of December and listed the dates. I made my reservation in early December. This was a huge disappointment as this was to be a family Christmas celebration with several coming from out of town. We had enjoyed the buffet at Suzanne's last Christmas and were looking forward to an equally festive experience this year. It was difficult with such short notice to find a venue for a large group. I am not certain I would recommend the venue to a friend, as much as we have loved the food and the venue in the past. I wish there was a maybe as an option below.

Such a solid lunch choice! Chicken salad was delish and the side of fruit was fresh. Very glad to have a good option close to the office!

For a white cloth, table seated lunch with good food, this is the place to go. The daily specials are always excellent and the quiche of the day is interesting and good. The table service takes place in a large ballroom and appears a bit out of place but the experience is always nice

Beautiful ballroom dining room inside the historic John Marshall hotel. Tablecloths, nice linens, linen napkins, beautiful tableware, and exceptional servers. If you're looking for a tea room or upscale lunch, this location delivers! We came for the quiche, which looked lovely on the menu and by the server's recommendation. The quiche as served is a non-traditional quiche, served more casserole style on top of arugula. It is very cheesy and does not have a solid egg consistency (maybe undercooked?). The accompany fruit was a great, light side for the heavy casserole.

I have used Homemades by Suzanne for catering in the past and was pleasantly surprised to have the chance to have it again. It did not disappoint. They make the best box lunches in Richmond in my opinion and are great for catering.I chose the Tuna Salad, it came with a pasta salad, a deviled egg, a piece of chocolate and a slice of key lime pie. It was the perfect size and the perfect lunch for our group of Camp kids.The only thing I didnt see on the menu was a vegan option. I would like to see something like that next time, maybe a chick pea salad or a chick pea tuna with a fruit cup, and a dairy free pie.I look forward to using them again in the future.

Absolute worst place in richmond, waited 30min for my order just to go inside and be told that the “order didnt come through” and then all of a sudden they “found” it, and had to wait another 30min for it, so basically just incompetent employees who dont pay attention to the online orders. Would not recommend this place, also way over priced for terrible food
