Yes! Absolutely yes! I haven't had hook and reel since I left San Antonio over 2 years ago and to find a location on the other side is was awesome! I'm happy I found it and the taste is still the same. I started with the crab balls and they were delish ? then I had the crab boil with the lobster, shrimp & snow crab. So tasty! My food was fresh and I have no complaints. I would recommend this place to others and absolutely go back!

Had a shrimp po' boy, cajun fries, and mozzarella sticks. The shrimp po' boy was pretty good, although I wish it had a bit more flavor. The cajun fries were pretty good as well. The mozz sticks were sorta soft and not fried hard enough. I am interested in seeing what else they have to offer.

Service was not great we had to wave someone down just to get a refill because the waiter never returned after placing our food order. It was an absolute ghost town in there so there was no reason to not check on us to throughout our visit to see if we needed anything. The food was okay nothing spectacular. Then they charge 4$ for strawberry lemonade and don’t offer refills for it .. would’ve been great if we were told that before ordering and the people were not friendly either

I love this place…wish they got more service like the other places …but it’s only bc it’s no DJ or events. But I love to be able and eat my food without feeling like I’m at the club. Their seafood is so good and the prices are affordable as well. Check them out!

I come here for lunch all the time. I ❤️ Love. Their food is good and customer service is amazing. I think if location was in a busy area they will always be full.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night and got seafood boils with the hook and reel sauce. We found our food to be delicious and the service to be excellent. The hostess and our server were very pleasant, and very sweet to our young toddler daughter. They brought complimentary Jell-O shots, an Appetizer of shrimp shumai, and watermelon around to all of the tables as a nice gesture. We had both a male and female server checking on us and they were both very kind. We left full and happy, and recommend checking this place out!

Bland food, terrible service, save your money and go somewhere else.

Got the AYCE seafood boil and waiter only came to the table 3 times and there were only 2 other small parties. First to take our order, but limited us to how much we could order. He didn’t even bother to ask us our drink orders, just asked us what we wanted. Second time we had to flag him down after trying for 10 mins to order more. Last time we got tired of it and just got the check. Over 100$ bill for fake AYCE. Food was so bland and overcooked. Seafood was definitely not cleaned properly before cooking because clams were sandy and crawfish tasted like dirt. The one bundle of crab you can get was tiny, crawfish were less than in inch long and skinny. The seafood just wasn’t good quality. Even overheard another table ask where the seasoning was and asked for some seasoning. Seriously, don’t go here. We were offered a free appetizer gift card at the end, I never want to eat this food again.

Very tasty! Catfish fried perfect, lemon pepper shrimp boil was delicious! Also a strawberry, tequila, rum, jello shooter! Perfect pallette refresher!

This place is great. You can tell someone put time and effort into the vibe of this restaurant and the food is delicious. I’ve never been a big seafood person, but the food here has greatly changed my mind on that. I got a mini boil with shrimp in lemon pepper sauce and seriously wow. I wish I lived local so I could come here all the time.

We sat at the table for 45 minutes after we had ordered and did not revive our food then after our “90 minutes” expired they told us we had to leave but it’s not worth the hassle
