I've eaten at the Hot Pot 757 on south side, where the service was much better. There, the server would explain everything to you beforehand -- important if you are bringing guests who haven't dined here before. At the Broad Street location, I asked the server to explain how the meal works, and all he said was that it's all you can eat. Not helpful to new customers like our friends. Also, a different employee kept interrupting us to change the BBQ burner, even when it was still cooking food. We asked her to come back to change the burner, but she did not understand English. This happened 5 times. Fortunately, however, the food was excellent.

Coming with a party of four and on a whim; aslo never eating hot pot before, the experience left a lot to be desired. The servers were impatient and unhelpful when explaing how to place an order. Starting at the salad bar, it seemed to be rather bare and poorly stocked, despite there only being 4 other tables at the time (6:30 pm). We were all quick to receive our soup bases (I chose Miso, which doesn't include tofu despite the picture on the menu and needed to be added seprately) however, the vegetables, meats, and noodles for the soups were delivered at various intervals and were incorrect at times. The staff forgot to deliver the udon noodles which were way overcooked in advance and practically mush. The vegetables and meats all seemed to be of good quality, however. The servers came occasionly as expected and the restaurant was decently clean. Perhaps the experience could've been better with prior experience with hot pots, and not everyone of our party was dissappointed, but this place wasn't for me.

Food is really good. Service is hit or miss. There is something wrong with the plumbing, there bathroom smell bad, all the seating and salad bar near bathroom, you can smell it.

Gave this location another two tries recently. This first visit was fine, no bad smell, the problem was the portions were so large that we could only order a few things or risk being charged for not finishing. The second time, just last week. The smell was there, something wrong with the bathroom, two years later..... This time the portions were very small and we could only order one of the same item for the table at a time, if i wanted shrimp and so did anyone else, just one order, four shrimp to split. Waiter rarely check on us and asked us if we needed more.
I will be sticking with the Midlothian location.

Great place to fill up on all your favorite Korean bbq style stuff and hot pot. If you had a bad experience, you don't know how to season/cook your food. Servers are attentive and available, and you have many options for food, seasonings, and sauces. Can't go wrong here.

Stopped in here unplanned while in the area and I do wish we had come with more people to experience more of the meats and sides. (The whole table can share but portions are decently sized so we were full before trying everything. Only other thing I always forget is that Korean spicy has much more heat than regular spicy. I ordered one of the hotter soup bases and it was almost too spicy for me to enjoy and I like spicy food. Otherwise food and service were excellent.

Has combined hot pot and bbq. Decently priced for the quality of food and the fact that it is all you can eat. Overall a good place to dine. Service was prompt and they were always checking to see if we needed more food and clearing away empty and dirty dishes.
