🔥🔥🔥 Extremely good food. My family and I came and ordered a bunch of stuff to share. Everything was 10/10 My favorite things were the fried shrimp and yams
I was quite disappointed with my experience. While I’m usually willing to invest in quality food, this meal did not meet my expectations at all. I spent $70 on lunch, only to be served a dish that was icy cold. The oxtail, priced at $30, was undeniably on the pricey side, especially considering the portion was rather small. Additionally, the rice accompanying the dish was also cold and lacked freshness, which really detracted from the overall meal. Unfortunately, this will be a place I won't revisit. It felt like a one-time experiment that didn't pay off. If your food quality is lacking, I simply cannot justify supporting your establishment.

Hungry Eyes is the place to go and be. The owners, staff, food, music and overall atmosphere all are AMAZING! They allowed our son to have a surprise engagement celebration and accommodated our every need to assure all went as planned. Whenever we have family and friends visiting from out of town, Hungry Eyes is definitely our go to! Wishing this establishment continuous success!

Not good at all...I spent $33 for an oxtail large order...there is no Jamaican flavor...more rice than peas..how do I get my money back? This was a take out order!

Unfortunately, , I was too hungry to get pics for the second time. Today I had a combination plate with oxtails and curry goat with white rice and cabbage. I appreciate how the food comes separated because I am able to add my own gravy. Both the oxtails and curry goat were extremely tender and delicious. The rice was warm but once I added the gravy from my goat it was good. Also, I tried the candy yams and they were good. They had something in there I never tasted before but it was welcomed! The server was wonderful from the time we walked in. I enjoyed everything ! (Smiling)

The food is good. $70 for oxtails, jerk chicken plantains, and brown stew. A bit pricey in my book. I wish that I would have been told this over the phone when I placed the order because I ordered small sizes. When I got to the restaurant I was told that they only have large and medium and I thought that was bad customer service. But overall like I stated in the beginning the food is good. I will say this. The jerk chicken was not spicy at all which was kind of a letdown and it did not have enough sauce on it.

I just got back from a long day trip to Richmond, Virginia, from Washington, DC. I came across a TikTok about your place, and I have to say, the atmosphere was fantastic! The food was amazing, especially the oxtails—wow, so good! Can’t wait to come back!
I love the food here, I only wish the service when dining in was better. The staff needs to be a bit more welcoming.

I can’t speak for the food because I didn’t even make it that far. I am a firm believer of a restaurant’s bathroom playing a big part in the cleanliness of the whole place. The bathroom was a hot mess and the door was tough to open. No toilet paper, no paper towels and only a few drops of soap. Upon leaving, I saw a freshly soaked tampon on top of the trash. Yeh periods are a natural part of life but if a bathroom barely has a toilet paper or soap then how is anyone supposed to practice good hygiene, especially the staff! At that point I was so turned off that I didn’t want to order anything from there so we left.
I highly recommend you dine-in or carryout food from here! Great food and service.
