Just decided to try some Jamaican since we were staying at a hotel close ,this was some of the best food I have ever had ..I don’t usually even do reviews but that’s how good the food was ..fair warning the portions are huge !!!

Portion is great. Quality is great. Taste is great. This is the best Jamaican food in Richmond. I had the large curry goat and it was phenomenal. Rice and peas not dry. Chunks of goat and not bone. Awesome establishment. I would have loved a little more cabbage because it was delicious.
I ordered brown stew chicken and was extremely disappointed! It tasted more like baked chicken without any seasoning. The star of the show was the rice and peas, maccaroni/cheese, and plantain. I expected a lot more based on the reviews. This might have been a bad day or a different cook.

Am sorry but the restaurant is very nice food no Seasoning no salt jerk chicken is the worst boil meat cabbage very very soggy it's suppose to have a little crunch to it sorrel is missing the sorrel sorry guys you need to step up please think about marinating your meats and adding garlic and other seasoning to your food blessed day

Great experience! I highly recommend this place. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the food was authentic and delicious with generous portion sizes. We ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, fried chicken with rice and peas, chicken tenders with fries, and a side order of plantains. Everything was awesome. We will definitely come back here.

Visiting the area googled this location….u can walk from the Hilton! The flavor, portions, and service did NOT disappoint! Although, I do wish the sauce on my Jerk Chicken was thicker, it was very tasty! I’ll be back for certain.
Parking: Good option on the outskirt of the mall as parking is easily accessible and most importantly the food taste great!

The food was disgusting for the price I usually pay for small oxtails $15 here I pay $24-$28 dollars and NO TASTE AT ALL the food don’t taste like Jamaican food at all no salt no seasoning and the curry shrimp ? was nasty waste my money never again
The location gives an authentic and warm vibe. The hostess was attentive and very helpful with menu selection. The portions were very good for the price and the flavors were on point, good fresh and hot. The owner/chef was personable and also attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend as this was my second time and I will be back!

I have been to many Jamaican restaurants and this one is far the worst Jamaican food I ever had. I had Brown stew chicken and it was very watery and chicken was boiled not stewed. Also had jerk chicken which was also boiled and jerk BBQ sauce added. Very disappointing for the price.

The Curry chicken, goat, and beef patties are delicious. I didn't care for the oxtails, so I didn't rate it 5 stars.
Visited this place a few weeks back and honestly I was disappointed to say the least. I order the oxtails with rice and peas and cabbage which were all bland! I’ve never had gravy-less oxtails or should I say grease instead of gravy. I had to add seasoning, the curry chicken was dry and bland as well. By the reviews it seems as though this place is hit or miss but I’m willing to try again. Great atmosphere and service
