This is the worst IHOP ever and I do not suggest going here even if you are a VCU student. For one the staff is fairly rude especially close to closing time. second at least 7/10 times your order will be wrong or you will get little to no fries or tots after waiting 30-45 minutes for your order. Also my last visit I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito... Bad mistake. You think it would have sausage, egg, and cheese in a wrap, maybe its just me but can someone explain why I had tater tots in my burrito...gross once I noticed what was inside I was already home and was not going back out leaving me to find something else to eat. I would highly recommend going somewhere else and leaving this IHOP as your last resort!

This is supposed to be an “iHop Express,” well it's not express at all, even when the food court is technically empty.

Food is terrible. People are rude, and often takes 30 mins or more for food to be ready. Not "express". Food here is really subpar for a college student paying $25,000+ tuition.

This is an IHOP Express, not an actual restaurant. It's like a fast food restaurant in a food court. The food tasted subpar and the service was rude and impolite. At 10AM on a Saturday morning, the establishment was blasting rap music. This restaurant may be acceptable to a drunk college student at 2AM but I think most have higher standards even for drunk food.

This is an IHop express location that looks to be in place specifically for the VCU students. I visited at 12 p.m. today, which appears to be a very busy time... The wait seemed to be excessive to me, but that may have been because the staff moved about at a very leisurely pace. They didn't seem to be in any hurry. I was a bit disturbed that one front line worker was eating something and when she was done she did not wash her hands. I don't think it's appropriate for a worker to eat in direct visibility of the customers at all, but to not wash your hands afterwards was a bit much for me. She wiped them with a paper towel and began completing orders by looking inside of the platers, adding other cooked items and putting lids on them. Mind you, without putting on gloves. Her fingers were visibly touching the inside area of the food container. This creeped me out a bit, but no one else seemed to notice. The workers talked to each other from the front line to the back about things that weren't related to customer orders - personal in nature, which I also thought to be inappropriate. The cook left the sausage off of my platter... One of the front line workers asked for the sausage and he threw them on my platter with his hands. I mean literally threw them. He had on gloves, so I guess that wasn't so bad, but it didn't look very nice. Like I said there were pretty much only college kids in there and no one seemed to mind. The food wasn't bad, but I probably won't go back. A bit to informal for me.

Pretty good for a swipe.
