My wife and I recently dined at the IHOP located at 7714 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond, VA, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. 
Service: • Wait Time: We waited nearly an hour for our meal, observing two sets of customers who arrived after us being served before us. • Waitstaff Conduct: Our waitress was discourteous, slamming a partially filled coffee cup onto our table. She then brought powdered creamer separately, which was perplexing. • Food Delivery: Upon expressing concerns about our delayed meals, only my grits were brought to the table—cold—while my wife’s meal was still missing.
Management Response: • Two managers approached us: a female and a male. Their demeanor was unprofessional; one appeared bewildered, the other smiled inappropriately. • The female manager offered to check on our food but both departed and did not return promptly. After waiting an additional five minutes without resolution, we decided to leave.
Overall Experience:
This visit was profoundly disappointing due to the subpar service, lack of professionalism, and inadequate management response. We hope that IHOP addresses these issues to prevent future patrons from enduring a similar experience.
Our server was great and that’s where anything good ends with this place. While my expectations for an IHOP are not high at all they really underdelivered. The kitchen sent out my order incomplete and cold. When I asked for them to fix the problem they simply drizzled a sauce with three berries on my cold and ungarnished crepes and sent it back out. The bill for two griddle combos came out to $32. On top of it all they did not let us use a Visa gift card to pay. If you are going to spend $40 (for two with tip) go to a mom and pop, or save half of that and take the fast food route.

Our family has been coming to this iHop for years and it seems like the food and customer service just keeps getting more and more exceptional. The wait staff is super friendly and the manager always greets us like family. The food is truly delicious and we love that you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner any time of day or night! One of our FAVORITE places to eat out!!!!
Great service. Came in for the Swedish Pancakes, bummed they no longer have it, but have crapes which is not too bad of a replacement. My waitress was nice and restaurant was nice and clean. I wish they bring back the Swedish Pancakes I ordered 2 crapes to go since I live 1 hour away on top of what i ate there. I'd drive 1 hour again to come back here
