I usually see a crew of 3-5 college aged people depending on how busy, and the group evolves as students graduate, but I’ve always been pleased with this spot.

I want to shoutout every delivery driver and cookie chef in there as they’ve made a considerable number of hangovers just a little more bearable.
Remember to buy what you can afford and leave room to tip well, I promise they notice and go the extra mile for good customers!

I took my visiting friends on a short tour of Richmond and I included the VCU area. When we came across Insomnia Cookies I figured it would be the perfect spot to recharge with a snack. We grabbed some cookie and ice cream treats and sat at the window bar hightop tables. The servers were very polite and the ice cream and cookies were excellent. I look forward to my next visit to Insomnia Cookies and I will continue to support the business.
Really good cookies. Especially if you're craving them late at night, they are open. They have a nice variety, but I favor the triple chocolate deluxe.

I had an amazing experience at Insomnia Cookies! They have an incredible selection of cookies and ice creams, making it hard to choose just one. I went with the White Chocolate Macadamia Ice Cream Sandwich, and it was out of this world! The warm, gooey cookie paired perfectly with the creamy, rich ice cream. Every bite was a treat, and the overall combination was just perfect. The staff was super friendly, and the variety of options they offer means I’ll definitely be coming back to try more. Highly recommend!

Me and my husband and son went to get 3 cookies & 2 milks. When they didn’t give me my receipt and they just ignored me, I walked out without the milks my husband did ordered the milks. Then when I was walking out I got yelled at by this girl that was behind the counter. She seemed as I was stealing the milk but then my husband did make it noticed he ordered them. Worst customer service they all seemed soooo high as they just all smoked before their shift. I highly don’t recommend this cookie spot. They are truly stupid college kids that don’t know what customer service is. Don’t recommend going to this spot. Stick to DoorDash.

The cookie cakes look nothing like what is shown on display…it’s like someone just slapped a sticker on the cake and called it a day. The frosting is not even evenly spread- it’s just slopped on. I’m disappointed because i was going to use this for a cute display at a party but this is not something i want displayed anywhere

The cookies were freshly baked and still warm. Generous scoops of ice cream. Yummy. Counter seating for a handful of people so you don’t have to take your ice cream outside into the searing heat if you don’t want to.
