Excellent creative vegetarian/vegan food in a discreet little restaurant in the basement. We enjoyed the beet salad and BBQ jackfruit burger. Both were flavorful and filling. The environment of the restaurant seemed a little dark and grubby though.
Sadly they didn't have most of the ingredients on their menu. 2-3 people in my party had the Reuben sandwich and it was unanimously disliked. The tofu melt sandwich was pretty good.
I had the kale salad, chicken sandwich (w/honey-garlic sauce), & truffle fries
Everything was delicious! The tofu on the salad was grilled to perfection.
The sandwich was out of this world so crispy. Def coming back just to order this.
The fries were simple but flavor profile executed excellently.
Definitely recommend for VCU students, travels, and locals alike!
