Meh. Very cool space that has the kind of seating that encourages you not to linger for long. There was more seating upstairs, but my disability made that a non-option for me. My cappuccino was sour. Not sure if this was the bean variety, the roast level, and/or the grind, but it smelled and tasted sour like a light roast arabica trying to be an espresso. Expensive in the way that all coffee shops in Richmond are. Disappointing experience.

Just got a large 24oz butterscotch latte with oat milk for a whopping $13.98 (not including tip). I get it, you wanna be elite, but there is nothing in the coffee, service, horrible parking, 30m cut off on the WiFi, or messy half cooked food that is worthy of charging $14 for 1 latte. Won’t be going back and I urge you to support a local business that gives back to the community instead of price gouging and supporting the Christian right.

Very kind staff, lovely ambience, delicious lattes and baked treats!
This is our go-to coffee shop while visiting Richmond. Well, many times we’ve intentionally stopped in Richmond, even if a bit out of the way, whenever traveling south… it’s that good! My husband is a latte lover and says theirs is top-notch. I am a tea drinker and the Yunnan Gold is the best cup I’ve had anywhere. It has a full-bodied, malty flavor that is deliciously satisfying. The atmosphere is a vibe- it’s quirky, has interesting history to read about and the music completes the mood. Definitely stop in! Their products are consistently tasty and well done. Oh, and try the chocolate chip cookie too!

Great coffee shop! Incredible coffee, service, and atmosphere. Only downside is that it’s not a great place to work. There’s no public wifi and no public outlets.
