Stopped by Ironclad at RIC this morning and ordered and paid for a latte at the kiosk. Everyone waiting for their coffee was told that the machine was broken and they only had regular coffee. No one mentioned this prior to any of us ordering. The staff also informed us that there was no way to refund payments from the kiosk. I paid $8 for a latte and walked away with terrible cup of regular coffee and no way to get my money back. This is unacceptable. 100% do not recommend the location on Concourse B!!
Went for the first time today in Lynchburg and it was fantastic! Great energy. Delicious food and coffee. I enjoyed getting together with friends in this space. Can’t wait to go again!
I have been here countless times - it is a legit bakery, complete with seasonally-themed baked goods and beverages!! The seasonal menus look as though they are done by a professional artist!! Cuteness overload!! Speaking of menus, here's a Pro-tip: for pastries, order anything with the word "bun" in the name!! "Cinnamon", "Pumpkin", or "Sleigh" buns - all a one-way trip to Tastyland!! NOT cheap, but you get what you pay for, and more. Always a solid option!!
Dietary restrictions: I think they have vegan and gluten-free...

Just wow! We are coffee snobs who travel frequently and love this place. The house made pastries, the creative lattes, the option of macadamia milk, so hard to find, the incredibly friendly and cheerful baristas, it's all good. Note that this location is drive through or walk up only. No indoor seating. However, if you visit their location in downtown Richmond, you can have all the above and cozy seating. Highly recommended!

Went with my Mom, LOVED her Chocolate Scone. It was HUGE, DELICIOUS and crumbly in the best of ways! I had the Raspberry Cruffin, beautiful. Delightfully buttery and sweet, there's a special filling too! 10/10 would go again!
Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy options include Oat Milk and Macademia Nut Milk.

The coffee taste good. We ordered the seasonal cookie drink and it was perfectly sugared and tasted yummy. Also got the Bella and iced peppermint latte. All the drinks were good for how it was made!
So our order got messed up. Our iced and hot orders got swapped and they had to confirm which one was decaf. We were the only ones there so I'm concerned if any other part of our ordered got switched or altered.

My favorite coffee shop! The dirty chai tea latte is the best. The pastries are AMAZING!! The chocolate croissant is the best I have EVER had!! The breakfast sandwiches are fine. Love that there is a drive thru!

My parents live in the area, and I've come here a few times when I visit my parents. The last time I dropped by, it took a while to get my drink. But I assumed that was a fluke and tried going again today. From the time I arrived, it took 35 minutes to get the two drinks I ordered. It took 20 minutes for someone to take my order. I was at the drive-thru window, but my husband went up to the counter to see who would be faster (the drive-thru was faster). It then took 15 minutes to get our two drinks (a latte and a cup of drip coffee). The two drinks cost $18, and between the price and the 35-minute wait, the coffee wasn't worth it. I'm only giving 2 stars because the coffee isn't terrible. If you're not in a rush, then it might be worth a try. But if you're not ready to spend at least half an hour waiting for your coffee, I wouldn't recommend going here. I really wish I had not stopped by there today.

While visiting family in Richmond, just happened to find this gem of a coffee shop. Stopped by in the early afternoon. They were very friendly and hospitable. Quaint with outdoor seating. The coffee is excellent and could not pass up the pumpkin / cinnamon bun (actually a loaf that fed the four of us!). Highly recommended.

They have great coffee, just like downtown! I love their single origin "jet brew" and my wife loves their latés (and she doesn't like coffee). This location is a drive thru with some outside seating. They make sandwiches before 2 pm but they also have lots of baked goods. They sell freshly roasted single origin beans too!
My only wish is that they had an indoor cafe at this location. There is land to expand in the future but until then my favorite Ironclad location will remain the downtown namesake in the old ironworks building where I can sit inside (unless it's busy, but that's a good thing for any business)!

This place is seriously magical! The coffee and scones are out of this world. Super cool modern boho interior design is like stepping into a dream. It's so cozy and unique, every corner is a little surprise. Very friendly and welcoming staff. If you're in the area, you have to check this place out.

Coffee was great. Staff were polite. We gave 3 stars because there were no other customers waiting and we went to the drive through and it took 5-10 minutes after ordering to get our coffee.

So a 12 onz cup size is a LARGE cappuccino on this place, came twice to double check if that was right and the guy said yes. So, my question now is, what’s the small and the medium cappuccino? (You get it) That’s weird. He said the large cup is for coffee ONLY. Odd.
Great coffee and a lot of delicious pastries! Everything is made in house. They do not have indoor seating but there is a drive up window and a few picnic table for outside.
