I was in town for a convention. We stayed at the Marriott and wanted something different than the hotel restaurant. Tried this on a hunch and the food was amazing.

Best tteokbokki in RVA hands down. I've never actually been to this place physically, but I've ordered a lot of food from here and they never disappoint. Insanely good food at an affordable price point and generous portions.

The smell alone was so enticing! We got a korean corn dog and it was sooo yummy, crunchy and cheesy!
I had the k-box with spicy pork belly. My husband got lettuce wraps with spicy pork. My daughter got shrimp tempura kimbap and a shrimp noodle bowl. Everything was flavorful and came out fast! Our server was polite and helped explain some of the things we weren't familiar with. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Let’s keep this place a secret between us.

Was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar before the rush. Literally every table and seat at the bar was occupied before 7pm. Jason was the best! He was running around taking care of everyone and everything. Happy hour from 5-7. Menu not pictured but it was about $1 off drinks. Beef bulgogi was mouth watering. I was only going to eat half but it was so good I was scraping the bowl.

Amazing food and the service was exceptional
The calamari appetizer and the wings- soy garlic sauce was yummy. My main dish was the uson noodles stir fry with shitakee and chicken 🤤🤤🤤 so flavorful.

It's hard to overstate how delicious the food is at Kogi. I had the bulgogi in lettuce wraps. It was so succulent and tasty that I still salivate when I think/dream about it 🤤 The service was also professional, friendly and attentive. I hit the jackpot by arriving at happy hour so got $1.50 flavoured soju shots which were delicious too (I sipped them, alright, lol). Highly recommended for a good meal and good time.

Not a huge fan of korean fare, except Bugogi, which was excellent! If you like korean dishes, you'll appreciate this place. Server was solo but attentive and so friendly. I love Richmond!

Visited Richmond for the weekend and was told by my friend to stop by Kogi. It did not disappoint me at all. We ordered the kimchi pancake and it's honestly one of the best I've ever had. Good portion size and flavorful. I also got the bulgogi house bowl and the meat is spectacular. It's sweet, savory, and just melts in your mouth. My girl got the katsu chicken house bowl and loved it. Overall, great restaurant and would highly recommend others to try it out. They have a ton of drink options, good music, good portions, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Definitely on par with some of the Korean restaurants in Flushing, NY.

Not authentic Korean. Authentic Korean serves banchon with their entrees. Shame on you for lying.

I get alotta take out from these guys an im pretty sure they're premaking the kimchi soups an microwaving them for the take out orders instead of making them fresh when someone orders, this is for the take out orders idk about when u dine in

There are shockingly few Korean restaurants around the Richmond area besides K-BBQ, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a good spot right in downtown! My girlfriend and I love korean food and ordered kimbap and red pepper pork belly. The portions weren’t bad at all for the price and the food was absolutely delicious! The art and decor was nice, and the young lady who took our waited on us was very kind. Will definitely be back

Super good, the server was working hard, bringing out everything as quick as possible during the dinner rush. Honestly I expected to wait longer. Food was incredibly good, best quality I've had in a long while. Highly recomend

Party of four were able to get a table on a Saturday night with only about a ten minute wait. There was seating at the bar. Drinks were delicious and the food was delicious. It’s possible to eat here without spending a fortune if you have willpower! We didn’t 🤣. Cute decor. Typical bar atmosphere.
