Jalapeños Méxican Grill

I’m a born-and-raised Texan, so I grew up around incredible Mexican food. I just moved to Richmond and have been obsessing over finding truly authentic Mexican, and this is the place.

I ordered the birria tacos and they were a blast of flavor, spice, and everything NICE. We ordered dinner at 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving and the service was still fast and friendly.

Have I mentioned the food is amazing? Because it is.

wonderful cantina style mexican restaurant. excellent, caring service. the waitress even helped me box up my leftovers. I suffered a bit of sticker shock for the $10 guac, but everything else was fair priced. [is there *ANYWHERE* that doesn't charge $3 for sodas anymore?] entrees were delicious and plentiful. #theworkofthepeople!

Wonderful little restaurant! The margaritas were yummy! We loved the food....chips were perfect & queso was great. We had the chicken quesadilla and arroz con pollo and a taco salad. Everyone loved their food! Great atmosphere and really great service. We loved our waitress. At the end of our meal she brought out a free dessert for my friend because it was her birthday and put a sombrero on her and sing Happy Birthday to her and I didn't even ask her to do it! It was so sweet! Highly recommend!

Great lunch specials! Very good food at a very reasonable price. Lovely staff and a cute spot in the middle of Carytown. Will be bringing friends here for lunch again!

They were swamped and I’m telling you these two girls rocked it tf out….. don’t get me started on the food….. 10/10 def get the jalapeno margarita AMAZING

Wow. I was not expecting this place to be as good as it was. Amazing food, amazing service. Amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend the Torta and the Arroz con Pollo.

Irma was our server and she did such an AMAZING job!!! Service was perfecto!!! The food so well seasoned too!!!

You won't find more authentic Mexican food anywhere!

My daughter and I went to this restaurant January 1 around 3:00 pm. We were sitting in the table close to the kitchen, and a drunk old men (a regular customer that’s what the manager told me ) came up to our table and started bothering my 13 years old daughter, with respect I told the guy to leave and stop bothering us, told the waitress what was happening at that time, they didn’t do much, so we had to leave, unfortunately food was good but you guys have to do something about those type of people!
