The food here is very close to being authentic, I’m not sure if there are different chefs on different days but sometimes it’s a hit and a next time it’s kind of bland.

My other issue is that because it is nestled in the heart of the downtown area, parking is a tad bit hard to get.

Nonetheless, this is my go to spot when I’m in the area.
The quality of food used to be better. I'm not sure what happened if they changed the cook or what, but that Jamaican flavor is no longer there, catering to the crowd or the right crowd because of the money food bland, akee where is the salt fish... and the Red snapper is fishy, for it to be a carribean resturnant the fish too fishy,, if I wanted american food where they dont clean the fish properly then thats what I would have gotten that...little lime juice and proper seasoning...
Oxtails had little gravy, the cabbage was not cooked or not chewable. There were big navy or lima beans in beans and rice, plus the rice was over cooked. It was my first visit time in a long time, it will be a long time before I go again.
