I had the Oxtails combo. Seasoned well, although it had a lot of fat. Portion size was plentiful. It is nice to have a Jamaican restaurant nearby with a wide range of options.

I ordered the curry goat and rice and peas and within 1 hr or so after eating my stomach was upset. And no it wasn’t anything else causing it as that was my first meal for the day. I was glued to my toilet for a while after. Never again

I had an order delivered. The service was fast. The food was still hot when it arrived. We ordered 2 beef patties. One was burnt on both sides - they had to have seen that. The coco bread was dry and undercooked. (I’m used to it being buttery.) the cabbage was okay - cooked to a decent texture but could have used more seasoning. Five small pieces of plantain were cooked well but the size/quantity was disappointing. (I thought an order was six pieces…) the most disappointing thing, though, was that shortly after eating I got diarrhea. Sigh.

TRASH! Over priced, small quantities, overcooked ill prepared food (pasta tasted and looked 2 days old, oxtails undercooked, not seasoned and fatty, cabbage grossly overcooked). I brought it to the owners attention and got an ‘oh well’ sort of reply.
It’s in a mall foodcourt. The only eatery without a live if patrons on a weekend afternoon. I should have known better.

The food was NOT what I expected. When I see collard greens I do not expect to get glory greens out of the can. The mac n cheese was stouffers and my bbq jerk chicken was fairly decent but was 3 small pieces swimming in bbq sauce.

I wish I’d read reviews bf I bought curry goat. I got small curry goat with rice n peas and cabbage. Curry goat was flavorful but too much fat & pieces of bones. Rice was too watery and not fluffy, didn’t have the right flavor. Cabbage was ok, not bad but not “ yum” … but the price was very high - $17.11 after tax. The young woman taking orders was friendly but the man cooking / preparing the to go plates looked like he couldn’t wait to leave. The food was mediocre. I would definitely recommend Carena’s over Jamaican Spot. I was very disappointed since it’s hard to find a Caribbean spot with bad food!

I was so disappointed when I got home to this plate of food. Is this Irie Vibes under a new name? Idk why I was thinking my plate would be fuller than what I had smh. Out of all the years of eating Jamaican food, this is the second experience that has been mind blowing. Please tell me if I’m wrong. I paid $21
If I could give them a 0/10 I would because they don’t even deserve the 1star! I went to this place on my lunch break trying something new and the person who took my order 1 was sitting down on his phone when I walked to the counter and then took my order and made me wait 15min just to give me a completely WRONG order! I asked for my money back and let them know he gave me the wrong food and he tells me “oh well we don’t have the food you ordered but I can give you something else”. I told him “I only eat what I ordered and also you haven’t even apologized for your mistake” he said to me oh well I can refund to your card. I said you STILL haven’t even said sorry so you simply don’t care. He just made a noise saying “hmm” I am disgusted with their customer service I haven’t even gotten to taste the food and sadly I never will because they will never get another dollar from me. I let the gentleman know he ruined my day completely and he didn’t even care.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.I spent $67.00 on an order today for Good Friday & I received the wrong order.No patties, No cocoa breads, no jerk wings for spending $50.00+ or more. An open container of a side of either jerk or goat meat & a separate container of a side of Oxtails. I try to support our business, but when I spend upwards of $100.00 and Customer Service can't bother to check before sending out...in my native dialect.."The Dog Dead" & I Kissing my Teeth, Hard....Disappointment is not the word!!
