Delicious SOUL food. They even have a TRUE (Corn Pudding) very similar to my Grandmother's legendary Church version. KD 's version has a touch more of a certain ingredient that I won't disclose. Only they, myself, & my Grandmother knows. 👌 You know my Grandmother's is my favorite! Stop by KD's.

I came to pick up two orders today. Food was set to be ready at 2:30. We got there and they did not have the yams for Order 1, okay fine, we got corn pudding instead. Around 2:50, we were still waiting for Order 1. They finally gave us order 1 and started working on order 2. The lady at the register then returned with the corn pudding for order 1 because they forgot to put it with the order.. We waited for order 2 for about 20 more minutes, got to the car and realized that they did not give my kids wings with fries. I went back inside and let them know, they made the kids wings with fries but didn’t give the right wing flavor, but at that point it was about an hour after pickup time and I was ready to go so I just took the L. The staff in the back also seemed to be arguing about job duties quite loudly. Service and attention to detail really needs to be worked on here as the food is very good but half of the time you don’t get what you order.

I just got off a shift working 7am to 11pm before I even start this. I got off at 1030 and thought man I want some good soul food and saw this place. I ordered the food thirty minutes before I left. I drove twenty minutes to come and pick it up.I go inside to pick up my order.And they say that they don't see my order.So I show them the confirmation email.As well as the money being taken out of my account. They tell me, okay.And I go and sit down for almost an hour, just for somebody to tell me almost an hour later that they're waiting to hear back from their manager.If they can make the order, I feel like anybody with common sense would have communicated that long before an hour had passed.And saw me sitting there?I am now going home for the night with nothing to eat.For dinner, as I have to be back up tomorrow.And at work at seven a m.So I don't even have time. I couldn't even be a first time customer here because they claim to not even have my order.Nor communicate anything until an hour passed. I will not be returning to try the food after this experience and I will not be recommending this place to any friends and will be warning them to steer clear because the lack of customer service here is ridiculous. This absolutely ruined my entire night.When I was looking forward to a good meal after a long day.And now I have nothing.

Ordered DoorDash and the order was wrong. Totally disappointed as I have ordered DoorDash before with no issues. If it was one item incorrect I would let that go but they messed up several things and I can’t call as the line appears to be disconnected and the website is down

Okay so let's go ahead and get them up to a five star review. Their food is delicious. I ordered on doordash and the chicken was fresh well seasoned and the texture was on point. Somebody grandma must be in there frying that chicken because even my toddler who is a very picky eater start eating it. I had to politely move her little hand out the way because I'm sorry babes. It's just not enough for the two of us 😭 And the prices in my opinion are affordable but don't mind me because if that chicken hitting hard enough I'll pay a million to get it LOL. But no the price was decent. I actually spent under $20 and I was more than satisfied so if you are wondering if you should eat here, yes, hurry up. It's well worth it It takes me five business days to decide what I'm going to eat for dinner. So trust me when I say this review is very accurate, their food is lit I'm about to order something right now 🥹

I haven't even finished my food yet and had to leave a review about KD's Kitchen. This place is right down the road and we stumbled upon it one day and I'm so glad we gave it a try, we'll definitely be back! We got pick up and ordered two orders of wings, Buffalo and spicy garlic Parmesan, both were out of this world. The pasta salad is perfect and the fries are seasoned well. There was an unexpected wait on our food, but the staff was nice to chat with while waiting and it was so worth it. Thanks for a great meal! 💗

I had hot honey wings (all flats), seafood salad & greens. the wings were & seafood salad were greaaaat! the greens.. not so much, could use more seasoning i didn’t like them at all & i love greens! the staff was very friendly but definitely should hire more people to avoid a line & waiting for someone to get to the front. sorry i didn’t get any pics! i couldn’t wait to eat!!

So look, this was my first time eating at this place and me and my girlfriend were starving needing some seafood/soul food vibes. We came in at about 12 noon and when I tell you the food was so good it had us reflecting on our childhood, laughing, and just made our whole day better. The “Zay Special” is a must. We had the mac and cheese, salmon bites, sweet potatoes, Philly smash burger, and seafood salad. It was so good I can’t fully explain. I suggest eating in the restaurant because the service was incredible, genuine, and comfortable. If you’re wondering why none of what I just described us eating is in the picture attached is because we had to spin the block again and get another order for dinner. It was just as good if not better. So we will be coming here regularly and I pray more of you all out here go too. 10/10 experience all around.
