I came to this KFC to pick up a mobile order, but all the store doors were locked with no explanation. I returned to my car and went through the drive-thru, only to be told by the manager that pickup was not allowed there and that I had to go inside — despite the doors having just been locked.
When I went back inside, the manager spoke to me in a slow, condescending manner, as if I didn’t understand what was going on, and implied the situation was somehow my fault. She then said my order would take 20 more minutes, even though the store was completely empty.
This was unprofessional, disrespectful, and a complete waste of time. Poor communication and poor customer service. I do not recommend this KFC location — avoid it if you value your time and basic courtesy.

The atmosphere and employees were great while waiting 15 minutes for the food. However it never fails that you spend over $40 dollars on a bucket meal and I never get the breast and you order extra crispy only to receive origina.. Thighs is dark meat people and there's a difference in extra crispy and original!!! And the mash potatoes smell spoiled this time around. It's very frustrating, like damn, $40 dollars for a meal and you don't even get what you paid for. Stop shorting people of the food they work hard to pay for😤

There is a reason why this location is one of the two best locations in the greater Richmond area according to Google review scores. Not great scores, but good. The reason why is the team on this particular day worked together like a close-knit family...and even close-knit families argue and fuss with each other, lol, but they got the job done. My online/mobile order wasn't fully ready when I arrived, but they picked up the pace during the busy dinner rush and put it together and got the order accurate with fresh, hot food. They even gave me some bonus items to make up for the inconvenience. I'd come back. 4 stars.

I usually don’t share feedbacks unless it’s imperative . I’ve patronized several KFC’s I past 20 yrs ( Henrico east end, short pump….and now Azalea Ave). I would occasionally order the chicken pot pie perhaps once a year ( just wasn’t made right ). Until Azalea and Brook rd location. I asked a male employee who works there… who makes the chicken pot pies ?, His response was it’s an older lady. Sooo…. Ma’am I’d like to thank you for a job well done. I’ve been ordering the pot pie weekly. It’s made the way it should be… meat to vegetables to sauce ratio. It shows your dedication to your job and a love for your customers. Thank you again !
Chicken wings very small ( tiny) I felt like for a two piece dinner and you want wings they should give you three that's how small they were. I was very disappointed 😞
