I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service was horrible and they charged me 18% gratuities for seven people but I came in with only four and 30 minutes later some of my friends stopped by and they said because they sat down at the table it was a 18% charge. If you are considering King Crab on Midlothian in Virginia DONT DO IT!!!!

Wow I’m very impressed by the freshness and tastiness of the food in this restaurant. Service was amazing our server was so sweet. We (10) came in during their busy hour but they still handled it perfectly. Everyone in my party left full and satisfied. They do charged 18% gratuity for six people and more as a group including separate checks and separate tables which is very common in restaurants nowadays so that’s very understandable. There’s notice on the door you first walked in and it’s on the menu and even on the table. So if you cannot afford that I guess this is not the right place for you :) They really took their time doing their job and they surely did a great job making us feel welcome and we appreciate them :)I definitely highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We have eaten at this restaurant twice in the last month and I have gotten takeout about bi-weekly in the past few years. The food is good; about normal for the seafood restaurants of its type. We have never experienced an issue with food. Cocktails are always good. Restaurant staff seems a bit melancholy. I'm really trying to narrow it down and not just blame the restaraunt itself. My hypothesis is the heavy increase in these boil-and-broil seafood type restaurants is over saturating the local market and thinning out its market share. I say that because I remember this restaurant used to be consistently busy when I used to get takeout here often, so business-wise something has evidently changed. Nevertheless, the restaraunt and food is fine, but the melancholy staff does bring down the atmosphere, especially on a date night. Because the food quality is consistent I might just switch to take-out for now and support 'dining in' at a later time. But I will continue to support this business.

I am a huge fan of this restaurant. Their seafood is always fresh and tasty. I ordered half a pound of crawfish and half a pound of shrimp with head on. The juicy seasoning is the best, it's not super salty like a lot of other seafood boil spots. I can't wait to order takeout from here again.

Sensational seafood boil! The eggs were a nice touch. I recommend King Crab.
Such an amazing experience. The food was seasoned very well, amazing service, and a clean restaurant. The staff was super nice and attentive. I purchased the broil bag and it was soo much food ? I had more than enough to take home for a second serving. I will be coming back again before leaving Richmond!

I had the 1/2 snow crab legs & 1/2 shrimp boiled with Cajun seasoning. It was delicious!! Fresh corn would have been nice especially because it’s in season. But the corn wasn’t bad.
