Very indifferent about Krogers bakery. I ordered here for my sisters baby shower and didn’t receive any phone call or confirmation or clarification about my cake, prior to picking it up. I had to call 2-3 times. So I automatically found that unprofessional. The lady in the bakery didn’t help me find a solution to what I needed or wanted for the cake either. Also they have miscommunicated hours of operation so I didn’t know when they actually closed and between the bakery and deli section, they’re not friendly or nice or willing to help and provide excellent service. I gave them 3 stars because the taste of the cake was excellent. That’s really all! Even the handwriting on the cake sucked. I could have done a better job than that. Go to Publix, Wegmans, or Walmart!

So many fabulous bakes like the orange cranberry cookies, M&M cookies, pies, tiramisu, chocolate chip muffins, and cherry tarts
Good staff or love Kroger bakery
Great customer service + 18O56O854O6 NO NONSENSE and GREAT ASSISTANCE !!!
I never leave bad reviews, but I am consistently disappointed in this store. I am doing pickup to avoid going in with COVID going on. Anytime I ask for a substitute, I NEVER get a substitute. Today my order indicted there were no razors or substitutes. I decide to go in to see for myself, and they are hanging right there.I requested slightly green bananas and I get a batch of bananas with green dots all over them, looking like a toddler took a marker to them. Customer service via pickup is extremely disappointing.
Our store with some amazing staff!
They have everything I need, a wonderful staff, and they just gave me a free bouquet of fresh flowers. I'm sold on Carytown Kroger!
We've lived in Carytown for many years, and I now have to find a new grocery store. Today there was almost ZERO produce. The Avocados were rotting and oozing. The workers at the deli counter are RUDE. They seem to be on a very strict 9-5 schedule. I asked for chicken at 5:15 and the worker loudly exclaimed “I'm trying to close but people keep coming asking me for things†I said well it's only 515 I image you'll probably be busy for a while since it's dinner time? She shot me
My husband went in and bought scallops today at 4pm and they were uncleaned and frozen.
Good deli cakes at this location.

I read where Kroger is laying off 1500 in Raleigh as they close stores and cut back due to declining sales. I went to one of the Krogers here in Richmond today. They had just completed restructuring the store to make it more convenient. I went to the 'baking section' looking for flour but there was none there. There was baking stuff, sort of, but no flour. I asked an employee if this was the 'baking section' why was there no flour'? She replied 'Its over in the flour section'. If you own stock in Kroger my advice is to sell it now.
Never had a problem!
The food is not terrible.
Groceries. Groceries are good here.
The staff are the best! I like this Kroger better than the others, because of the great atmosphere. I drive past 3 other Kroger's to come here and it's worth the trip!
