For those from out of town, Kroger is a grocery store similar to a Safeway. Visiting RVA for a weekend from D.C., Kroger was a short drive from where we were staying. There's a large parking lot and the layout is similar to other grocery stores with produce, the bakery, etc. right when you walk in. I stopped in to pick up salami, gallons of water, and laundry detergent. There are many self-check out stations and customer service was helpful.

Great place to get some fried chicken! Usually a quick and easy shop when when busy but the front end staff are hit or miss and their money center seems to always have issues.

It's my nearest Kroger so I attend here often. It's usually well kept up and clean. My only complaint is that it's extremely hard to find the cashier helping in the self check out.

Warning that the rent-a-pig is inconsistently enforcing a ban on bags. You will be turned away for wearing a small backpack while women carrying a duffle bag for their purse are freely allowed access. Enforcement appears based on gender and personal bias.

Bought two prepackaged tenderloins here. After getting home and opening the package, I noticed that 50% of one of the steaks is fat. The worker who cut this steak obviously put the side with no fat facing up so you couldn't tell. That steak shouldn't even have been packaged, wasted money because someone couldn't be bothered to do a simple job.

This people here will be your amazing place to hear understanding when you "struggle "with paper bags,something that you forgot or not so great days,it's a bit stressful place because it's always a lot of people crowded but it's near our home and I like to walk until this store especially when is changing of season it's nixe,pumpkins flowers everything.

Tried to get air for my tires here and the machine didn't work. Guy at the desk wouldn't even give me my money back. Complete scam, just go somewhere else for air.
