It was a nice weekend and wasn’t crowded during the time I went. We sat near the door, the first booth we hardly had space, table was too wide and seats are were uncomfortable. Food was decent and our waitress was nice.
As a true Cajun boy I needed some flavor to tide me over ....this was recommended and I was very pleased with the offering. The gumbo is a very dark roux and I enjoyed it. The red beans and rice were great but missing some sweet cornbread to go with it. And the jambalaya is a unique take....for true Cajuns I found their version to be more like a Sauce picante....and it was my favorite of the three things I ate. I see others sharing their experiences, so I thought I’d share mine!With the way some other reviews looked, I was a little apprehensive. But, as far as my personal experience, I was very pleasantly surprised :) service was prompt and friendly, and the food was incredible. The gumbo is especially delicious and their oyster shooters are very tasty.Will definitely be back!
