Stopped by your booth today at the Farmers Market and sampled the chicken salad. Immediately bought the small container and eating it now with Pita chips. Absolutely delicious! You have a new customer and can’t wait to visit the store front.
Great experience! Robert was very kind and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend going and learning a little bit more about wine!
Fantastic wine bar! You won't find a more knowledgeable sommelier than Robert. He has such vast knowledge and he presents that in a very humble and interesting way. His wine selection is really quite impressive and full of wonderful gems from all over the globe.
The food is also quite good. Attention to detail is obvious. Lots of nice flavors in well prepared dishes. Even a simple dish of olives is lightly seasoned and marinated, and then slightly warmed. Mouthwatering! And of course, Robert has the perfect wine to pair with all the wonderful food they offer.
Always a fantastic experience! Such a treat for Richmond. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Such a cute spot for a glass of wine at happy hour! Love the ambiance, and their market side has fantastic to-go items. I'd absolutely recommend the chicken salad croissant, or the soups!
Leek and thistle has THE BEST frozen meals and having them is great for a tasty night at home. But the biggest hack, and reason we regularly stock up even though we moved out of town, is that we take them with us when we were doing weekend trips and the kitchen situation is unknown or suboptimal. It's so much healthier and cheaper than takeout and it avoids the annoyance of having to take everything with you only to find that your Airbnb doesn't have a cutting board or decent knife. The pork pazole is our most favorite but everything is always fantastic!
What a FIND! Leak & Thistle has some amazing frozen meals including my favorite, the chicken pot pie. Today I had an opportunity sit at the bar with a four glass sampler while enjoying a conversation about wine with Master Sommelier, Robert Jones.
Great wine shop with a master somm… I also enjoy the light meals they have available.
The best food in Richmond!!
Coronation chicken salad, British pies, interesting seasonal stews, soups, vegetarian friendly and a top notch wine bar with monthly wine dinners. This place is a gem on Main St.

Always an amazing time. Thank you, Robert for always making my friends and I welcome. Thoroughly enjoy grabbing a take home dish for the next day or the veggie wrap for lunch!

I got a chance to visit today to help out family with meals during a surgery. They don’t have many restrictions (so I thought) - no red meat or tomatoes. I was going to get a meal for today and a meal to freeze. I looked at the salads and sandwich options and the first item I see is a quinoa salad that expired 2/23. All of salads and sandwiches but one had an expiration of 3/23. They looked alright but I was hoping for something more fresh and plentiful looking. I checked out the frozen selection hoping for anything but I didn’t see options that didn’t have tomato, red meat or freezer burn. I looked the freezers over a few times but couldn’t find anything that fit that criteria. I guess if the dates in the coolers aren’t being checked on, I shouldn’t expect staff to come over and check on me clearly rifling through every item in their freezers. I was going to ask someone for assistance but everyone looked too busy to be bothered swiftly walking around or leaving for the day, so I called it. 3 stars for looking inviting and having some sweets I would’ve added to my purchase. Thanks.
Butternut, sage and apple soup, Delicious! All the Burittos but particularly the Chorizo and the Veggie. Chicken Pot Oie is next level. Love this fresh, small batch from scratch healthy foods. Wonderful food. The chicken salad is the best I've ever had. Lovely proprietors too.
Your Guinness stew was delicious. Better than my own!
