BEST Indian! Sonny was our server and regaled our group of eight with wonderful stories and fun facts about the ingredients. The fusion of flavors in every dish was fabulous. He curated a surprise dish for me based on my ask of lamb, spicy and laden with veggies. Out of this world! Richmonders are blessed to have such a culinary gem in our city.

Really good food and prepared with great innovations. The Chief Preet prepares and presents amazing delicacies of modern Indian food with combinations of authentic Indian dishes. This food is really prepared with exception taste. The service is also very good and makes the family dinning an exception experience.

A wide variety of dishes - all delicious! Service was friendly and helpful describing dishes that we were unfamiliar with.

I ordered 2 dishes. Butter chicken and curry chicken and for my daughter they had chicken fingers and French fries included in the menu. When they brought out the entrees I was surprised to only see one bowl of rice for myself and my wife to split? They forgot my daughter’s order completely. We didn’t get her food till we were ready to leave. I shared my own dish with her. It would have been nice to all eat together as a family. That DIDNT happen. Bill was about 100+ which I expect but the food was bland

Such a good restaurant and friendly staff. The owner is always out and about interacting with customers which is nice.

Food was terrible. Naan was burnt. Chicken Tikka Masala was sour. Firecracker chicken had no flavor. Overall, the food was terrible and completely ruined the experience despite the interior being beautiful.

As parents, and as people who are forced to put work before leisure, my wife and I don’t get to go out on dates often. When we do find the time, Lehja is among our first choices. It feels special every time. Sunny’s passion for food is so obvious. If you ever get the opportunity to chat with him, take it. He will make you care about your meal even more.

Ate outdoors with our dog. Lovely evening. Food was very good (as always). Service was efficient and attentive. I always highly recommend Lehja to my friends.

We have been fans of Lehja for quite a while, and have been very impressed by the hospitality and the food. Last night was a disappointment which I hope was an aberration. The food was not as interesting and tasty as usual. The service was friendly when they paid attention- which was sadly less than needed, especially at the end of the meal. We waited 10 minutes at least to give our dessert order, had to ask for our check even though the staff walked by us several times. The party seated very nearby was very noisy. We had a reservation as did they and I wondered why we were seated so near to a large party when the rest of the area was empty. I work in the service industry and am more than inclined to be charitable, but our dining experience this time was not to the usual standard.

My experience yesterday left me wondering if I would return to Lehja. The waiter left me for long periods of time and did not check on me. When I asked for foil to carry my leftover naan in, he acted irritated that I asked. This experience was 100% different than 2 weeks ago.

Nice location. Unfortunately, I got chicken tikka and it wasn’t nearly “medium” spicy as requested. To be honest, I didn’t notice much flavor at all. Very surprising for an Indian establishment. I got garlic naan and the second piece is completely charred and not edible. Only a few pieces of chicken, burnt naan, and a staff that overall seemed indifferent towards the customer. I wish I had known before I spent $30…

Visited for the first time. Had some questions about the menu including dietary restrictions and taste preferences. the owner was very willing to make sure we got exactly what we would enjoy. Staff were excellent while not hovering. Food was delicious and just superb! They use locally sourced ingredients which is a big plus in my book. Cannot wait to go back - one of the best meals I've had in recent memory.
