First time we visited, beautiful location on the river . Food was great my wife got the crab cake sandwich with fries and I got the fish and chips with fries.

This was my first time going here. The food and service was great. The environment was nice waterfront dining. There are boat docks and piers and a river side burm that people were able to fish from. The parking was easy and plentiful however I have heard in the peak season during the nice weather it gets very crowded so parking may be more of a challenge and possibly a wait to get in. They do have a waiting area with firepits and drink service which is a nice feature. I have also heard they have live music during the peak season. I checked the website and they have a good line up of live music coming this spring and summer. I am looking forward to going back during peak season to enjoy the waterside atmosphere with live music. I think this may be my new favorite go to place for the spring and summer. The food was great, they have good appetizers and personal pizza choices also like a Greek and Italian style and they had good beer choices and drink options. IPA’s like Stones and Falcon Smash and a Blackberry cider. There were lots of other food choices on the menu also. I recommend you try this place for the atmosphere, the drinks and the food.

We were ready to place a large takeout order. I then noticed you charge a 20% tip on takeout orders. I’m sorry you don’t pay your employees enough and yes we do tip on takeout orders. But we don’t feel that you should dictate that we should pay a 20% tip for takeout. Additionally, it’s not like your prices are low. So we decided not to place the order and got food elsewhere. Good luck!Update. Bad me I didn’t realize you added 15% tip for takeout based on the food “and the tax”! Sorry I still disagree with you determining what I should tip for takeout while not indicating that the total price includes a tip!

Thank you to the Lilly Pad for your exceptional service. We were floating up to Rocketts Landing from Anchor Point Marina for the lighted boat parade and running late. We needed pizza for our hungry tummies so we pulled up to the dock and they came right out. Got us our pizza and we were back on our way in no time! And that pizza was sooooo good! Thanks also for the great party you throw every year for the specators! You are by far my favorite spot!

Lily pad is a gem in the city. I love riding my motorcycle here. It’s a beautiful view and the food and drinks are good! I love the crab dip. I got breakfast pizza for brunch yesterday and it was also very good. I wish you guys would bring the drinks in pineapples back! I loved those too.

Great view of the James River and perfect spot for a nice sunset.We went on a Saturday afternoon, it was busy, they had live music and it was Halloween. It was pretty loud.You could see servers were overwhelmed.Food was ok, nothing crazy. They have a nice crab dip... But is more cheesey than crabby.

Even though it was a cold night, it was a great place to eat! Good food, great drinks. We loved that it was dog friendly, the dog menu was so cute! The crab dip appetizer was delicious! Portions are just right as well!
