Food was really good. Authentic Mexican. The atmosphere is more spartan than anything else. The food was worth it though.

The carne asada fries had pretty good flavor, but were not fries per se and were instead more like cubes of potatoes that were larger than home fries and smaller than wedge steak fries. The spicy margaritas were delicious and a fair happy hour price!

Went out with coworkers to celebrate the end of a long stressful run of work, walking in we immediately felt on vacation and at ease. Each of us started with cocktails, tequila espresso martini, 2 spicy mezcal margaritas, and their special drink for pride month- wow. The salt on the margaritas was a homemade blend of salt & chilis and really made it perfect. For appetizers we had chorizo and pepper fondito, tuna ceviche, and guacamole. These were perfect and light to satisfy us before our entrees. I had the Ribeye Aguachile, it was savory and fresh with a quenching balance of fresh herbs, cucumbers, avocado, and jalapeño on top. A very generous portion for the price ! We finished with cake and ice cream for dessert, which was absolutely worth saving room for! I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Had their pastor tacos, their chicken soup, octopus, side potatoes, assorted sauces, guacamole, tostados, their flank steak, their corn dessert and so much more. Their food is made with love and quality ingredients. Did my bday here with the fame and was excellent. Will likely become my families “second kitchen.” The owner, her son and servers like Abby are great and caring. Excellent vibes
