I had the red velvet waffles, which came with fried chicken and 2 scrambled eggs. I also had a side of potatoes. Everything was so delicious! Our server was great, and there was a nice friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be go back!

I wouldn’t come again. The food wasn’t good to me, but that’s just my opinion.

Was visiting from NOVA for a trip to Richmond and stopped in early on a Saturday for breakfast/brunch due to online recommendations. The place was packed, as expected, but we were able to grab a spot at the bar. The different types of Bloody Mary’s were all excellent with the Jalapeño and Smoky Bacon being the two standouts. The boozy coffee was also a nice drink for those who want a hot alcoholic drink on a cold day. As for the food, the Grits Bowl and Chicken & Red Velvet Waffle were both excellent and we left little behind (large portion on the C&W). The vibe was equally energetic and relaxed, so it should please nearly everyone. Definitely worth a look while visiting!

Had a great first visit to Lulu’s Restaurant in Richmond! It was our first time trying the spot, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the French toast with breakfast potatoes, and everything was delicious — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and very satisfying.
The atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall experience made it feel like a place you’d want to come back to again. If this first visit is any indication, Lulu’s is a solid go-to for breakfast or brunch. Looking forward to trying more from the menu next time! 🍽️✨

I'd like to begin with a heartfelt thank you for them changing our reservation. I was off by 15 minutes and I called up and they moved it. That type of service goes a long way.
It was our first time visiting and with all the great breakfast places around, I don't think we'll be back (for breakfast). We had a party of six so they tacked on an automatic 20% gratuity. Having been a server I understand why but it also seemed to lessen the service. Everybody's food was just so so. In particular, the chicken was pretty spicy. And that was without warning.
The reason I didn't give them three stars was because I absolutely loved the space, the overall vibe And the aforementioned customer service. I think I'll try again in the summertime when we can sit outside and have drinks.

The shrimp and grits was perfect! So much amazing flavor. I'm not a fan of shrimp so I had them on the side so my husband could enjoy them, but the flavor of everything melded so perfectly. We'll be back!

Easily in the top 5 places to get brunch in the city. Fantastic food, amazing and friendly service, and a fun, quirky environment. Wait times can be long so reserve ahead of time - or wait for a spot at the bar.

My favorite brunch spot! When the weather is nice, I like to sit on the patio and bring my dog. The workers are always so nice, and bring a water for my dog too! They answer any questions I’ve had about their specials menu, and they’re very friendly.
They’re always booked and busy so I like to make a reservation before I go. My favorite things to order are just a bunch of sides, which are large portions and I always feel satisfied. Reasonably priced menu, with a variety of options. The only drawback is that they’re still upcharging for every egg dish the last time I went a couple weeks ago. Hopefully their prices go back down soon, now that eggs aren’t $15 a dozen anymore.
Definitely recommend as a cozy brunch location!
